I have a strong interest in the Health & Safety industry and believe that a suitable career in the industry would allow me to expand my knowledge in Environment, Health & Safety at workplace as well as put to good use of my interpersonal and communication skills.

Currently, I am still studying in third year of my BSc. (Hons) in Environmental Technology at UiTM and will graduate by the end of November 2008. I am well versed with EQA 1974, OSHA 1994 and FMA 1967. Particular, large organization like your organization shall offer me crucial work experience which I am highly attracted to due to the number of opportunities open to fresh graduate like me. I believe that I have the qualities needed to undergo this challenging work and will contribute to your organization with best of my ability.

My internship at Pathology Unit, Hospital Jitra and Department of Environment, Kedah in my second year of study has prepared me to great extent for the challenges and responsibilities of the working world. From dealing with public to working in a team, I believe my past experience will help me integrate and work in your organization.

[ May 2004 – July 2004 ] Industrial training at Pathology Department, Hospital Jitra, Jitra, Kedah.

Job description
Analysis of samples from patients according to unit; serology, microbiology, hematology, and serology.
Calculation of readings and compare with doctors’ hypothesis/description. Approval from supervisor and record results of analysis.

Experiences gained
Learn to be accurate, high analytical and observation skills during analysis.
The important of record keeping for future reference.
The important of time management in handling laboratory sample analysis.



[May 2008 – July 2008] Industrial training at Department of Environment, Kedah, Malaysia.

Job description
Monitoring of groundwater quality, marine and river water quality, air quality and wastewater quality in Kedah.
Monitoring of air quality.
Took wastewater samples from domestic and industrial wastewater treatment plant in Alor setar and Gurun.
Join investigation team to detect air pollution emission from factories in Alor Setar. Join mobile operation (ops) for air emission from private vehicles, buses and lorries (petrol and diesel )

Title: Genotoxicity of Santiria griffithi Using Allium cepa Roots
Supervisor: Associate Professor Dr. Zainon Mohd. Noor
Work description
Consist of 2 parts, the extraction of the plant extract, Santiria griffithi and the other part is the genotoxicity test using the plant extractions on Allium cepa.
The study shows the leaf extraction Hexane, Diethyl ether and Methanol of Santiria griffithi is not genotoxicity to Allium cepa roots.
The result can be a reference to determine whether Santiria griffithi is safe as herbal product for consumer.

Fiinishing my BSc. (hons) in Environmental Technology, MARA University of Technology, Malaysia. Expected to graduate by NOV 2008.
Also have Diploma in Microbiology From MARA University of Technology, Malaysia.

Good at MS Office and some basic computer knowledge.

Good in microbiological laboratory skills.
