For over 15 years I have been living in France, during which time I have constantly challenged myself to succeed in everything I have undertaken including speaking perfect French.
In 2007, I spent a year renovating my restaurant and turning it into 2 apartments, that was a huge project as I have never worked in the building trade.

Responsibilities: European Advertising & Marketing Plan, PR Department, Events, Team Riders & Team Budget, Trade Shows (stand design, set up, operation), Photo Shoot’s, Brand Website, Marketing Liaison for distributors in 20 countries and overall European Marketing Strategy.
2000-2004: SEIGNOSSE/FRANCE Conception/Owner of THE SUSHIBAR, Japanese Restaurant/Catering Company.
Directed the catering for receptions, events and functions of up to 500 people, coordinated all staff and operations. Also, the day-to-day running of the restaurant including all finance and accounting.
Catering clients - Quiksilver, Billabong, Nixon, Electric, Globe, Reef, Roxy, Pukas, Lost, Analog, Gravis, DVS, Matix, Mme Danielle Mitterrand (former French first lady), Virginie Ledoyen (French Actress).
1999: HOSSEGOR/FRANCE Marketing Assistant, Surf Team Manager – ARNETTE EUROPE.
Responsibilities: Surf Team Manager, identifying/signing new riders, budgets and events.
Main action: Coordinator of ‘THE GONZO TOUR’- a 6-month European bus/promo tour with our athletes in surf, skate, snow, free ski, music, wakeboard and FMX. Selected print media partners and organized specific program’s in each country, TV production for 3-min segments on EUROSPORT for Tour coverage and web site updates.
Countries visited: Norway, Denmark, UK, Ireland, Switzerland, Spain, Holland, Italy.
1997-1999: Manager/Part Owner Bar/Restaurant ‘Seaside Pub’, HOSSEGOR/FRANCE
Main action: Oversaw staffing,kitchen, ordering, rosters, menu’s and special events, parties and night programs. The ‘Seaside Pub’ was a focal point for summer activities in Hossegor, the centre of the European Surf scene. Duties included creating specific concepts, budgeting, staffing and implementing Brand based parties/product launches.
