1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]
I am applying for the position of seismic interpreter.
2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]
I have started to my professional career as a seismic interpreter in basinwide projects, including synthetic generation and mapping. First three years, I have mostly worked with 2D data with complex mistie problems. In the following two years, I have worked in 3D projects as a project geophysicist. The basin I have worked was a gas producing basin. We were mostly looking for structurally controlled amplitude anomalies (DHI analysis) and get high success ratio. From 2006 to present, I have been working as a project leader in a similar 3D project. In this project, I am insisting on creating an integrated working environment in LANDMARK workstation, integrate seismic and well-log data, interpret paleoenvironment by amplitude analysis and increase the success rate in the basin especially using DHI analysis.
Simultaneously, I have been working in the basinwide sequence stratigraphy project using seismic and well-log data as a part of my Ph.D. study. My Ph.D. study utilizes 2D seismic and well log data in sequence stratigraphic framework and investigates the impacts of regional and global variables in the Tertiary sedimentary record. I have also involved in international projects. From 2006 to present, I am a member of “Colombian Basins Project”. In this project, we are looking for new ventures in Colombia and I am responsible for seismic interpretation.
