since 1996 I am an Italian electronic engineer with a passion for technology sales.

During the last years I have led two 'start up' in Italy for two major
international IT Security corporate (McAfee Int. as 'Strategic Account Manager'
and Sophos Plc as 'Area Manager - Sales Team Leader') selling Enterprise
Security Software to large account.

In 2007 I've managed the sales activity of RapidEye AG in Southern Europe
(mainly in Italy, France and Spain). RapidEye AG, based in Brandenburg
(Germany), owns and operate a private satellite program.

Today I work as ICT Sales Consultant on several Large Accounts in Italy and France (Telecom Italia, Finmeccanica Group, Gruppo Ferrovie dello Stato, Generali Group, Poste Italiane...).
I promote ICT products and solutions on behalf of multinational vendors and resellers.

During my activity I've built competences in Business to Business Technology Sales,
Channel Management, Sales Team Management and Business Development in
international environments.

My experience has given me a strong foundation in sales management in
competitive markets organizing and prioritizing sales activities, managing sales force as well as long
term relations with resellers, partners and corporate end users.

I speak French and English fluently, German at conversational level.

I'm based in Rome and I can relocate.

03/2008 - today: Italy – ICT Sales Consultant
Sales Consultant at RapidEye AG.
As freelance, responsibility for the coordination of sales activity and business development on behalf of several enterprises (Vendors and Resellers) on Large Accounts (ENI, Poste Italiane, Gruppo Ferrovie dello Stato, Telecom Italia, Gruppo Generali, INAIL, SOGEI, Poste Italiane), directly or trough channel partners in B2B ICT environments.
Proposal of solutions and products managing the channel and the presale process.
07/2007- 03/2008: RapidEye AG – Berlino (Brandenburg an Der Havel) Germany.
RapidEye AG owns and operate a private satellite program and offers services related to the satellite imagery on several applications fields.
Role: Management of commercial activities (prospecting, account management, negotiation and reporting) mainly in Italy, France and Spain. (Agriculture, Forestry, Telco, Finance, Insurance, Manufacture, Oil & Gas, PA, Transports).
Relations at CXO level with partners, private corporate end users and public institutions.
04/2006 - 06/2007: Monster Worldwide – Roma
Responsible for the Sales activity in Center and South Italy, managing three account managers.
Provided reports and forecasts monthly.
Developed the area and strategies in order to exceed the quota.
07/2005 - 04/2006: Sophos – Roma
Sophos is a worldwide leader in reliably protecting businesses, education and government against viruses, spyware, spam and policy abuse.
Responsible for the office in Rome (created in August 2005). Managed three Account Managers, the channel sales and the relations with the top accounts, reporting to the Italian Sales Director.
Managed the relations with partners and resellers, in order to maximize the sales results.
Supported the activity at the customer site when an Account Manager or Reseller required (presentations, relations, training, etc…)
Represented Sophos in center/South Italy at any level (CXO level) on each Institutional Corporate End User: Poste Italiane, INAIL, Gruppo, Ferrovie dello Stato, Telecom, SOGEI, Carabinieri, Esercito Italiano....
On each negotiation responsibility of the management of the reseller and the related activities (presale process and contract negotiation).
2001 - 07/2005: McAfee int. (Network Associates) – Roma
McAfee, leader in solutions for Intrusion Prevention Systems, commercializes products through a series of reseller (VAR) that deals with end users.
Created the direct contact between vendor and end user (via resellers), managed complex negotiation processes, motivated and managed the channel.
Acquired, dealing directly with the end users and managing the channel activity, customers as Poste Italiane SpA, Gruppo Ferrovie dello Stato, TeleSistemiFerroviari, Gruppo Generali Assicurazioni, Telecom Italia SpA, Guardia di Finanza, Ministero del Tesoro, Banca D’Italia.
As a result of those acquisitions, the corporate initially based in Milan, has changed the barycentre of business and logistic to Rome.

Uniteam is a System Integrator oriented to Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence and Document Management technologies.
