CV/Resume Details

1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to express my interest in a third mate/junior dp position.

In December 2005 I completed the required curriculum for a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Transportation from The California Maritime Academy (CMA). During my time at CMA I held two class offices, I was Corps Chief Mate, a varsity athlete and on the Dean’s List. These leadership positions have been a great addition to my education.

Since 1999, through high school and college, I have worked for three maritime hospitality companies as Deckhand, Assistant Engineer, Mate and a licensed Captain. Currently I am employed on a large private yacht, equipped with DP. After successfully completed both the basic and advanced DP course I am hoping to enter into an exciting career as a DP officer onboard one of your companies vessels.

Attached is a copy of my resume for your consideration. I hope to hear from you and look forward to discussing a possible position. Thank you for your consideration.
