Ensure the development, implementation and monitoring of a robust Health, Safety & Environmental Management System for Production & Maintenance. Responsible for liaison with relevant Project Teams to make sure that the new facilities installations have been designed to meet the HSE & Operations requirements. Job Responsibilities :-As a HSE Officer is to instill positive attitudes regarding Health, Safety and Environmental issues and programs in the crew, which includes taking an active leadership role in the promotion and acceptance of health, safety and environment policies. My main role to be out on site being observant in all areas of the rig’s function and provident advice and recommendations so that all personnel are capable of working in a safe manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:- Undertakes scheduled inspection of all assigned installations and equipment inclusive of social facilities, accommodation and workshops and to check the condition of portable safety and fire equipment installed.
To act as an onsite HSE representative, assisting in implementing policies and procedures set forth by the HSE Management System Manual. To develop, implement, and monitor: safety orientation programs, safety meetings and presentations, PTW system, helideck management, emergency drill coordination, HSE inspections, internal auditing, accident/incident investigation, and safe work practices. Manage and maintain LTA and man-hour statistics, ensuring end of the month reports are forwarded to the Operation or General Safety Manager. Manage and distribute all safety alerts in a manner, which informs all personnel on the rig. Attend the weekly crew safety meetings, acting as an advisor and presenting HSE topics (not as chairman).To act as a chairman at General Safety Meetings or Department Head Safety Meetings. Carry out daily rounds of the rig in an effort to monitor, advice, take corrective actions and report non-compliance to the Barge Master. Manage, investigate, record incidents in a transparent and professional manner without compromising proper HSE practice. Perform a leading role with the Barge Master for Emergency Response scenario training of Emergency Response Teams including, FRC, Lifeboat, Fire Teams, Rescue teams, Stretcher Teams, Helicopter deck crews. Perform a leading and advisory role in conjunction with all supervisors for JSA activities Plan and conduct in house training activities, Check and maintain SCBA equipment, manage the third party servicing of this equipment, Maintain a daily dairy of duties and events using electronic and hard copy versions, Produce and pass on a handover document to my relief in electronic and hard copy versions. Produce end of the month report, the associated documentation and direct to the operations office and head office. Prepares written reports on inspections, findings and recommendations and submits to location supervisor and fire officer for implementation of remedial action.
