I have 32 years of progressive experience in the Marine Industry. I have good experience in all types of shipping operations entailing maneuvering of merchant ships, passenger ships, tugboats and jack up rig, as well as all the daily management tasks on these units.

I am equipped with excellent communication, interpersonal skills and a very positive professional attitude, which has allowed me to sharpen my considerable and substantial skills that can be effectively utilized by your organization. Some highlights of my achievements include:

• Appointed as advisory nautical inspector on several shipbuilding programs.

• Selected twice by Maersk Company to participate in a scientific expedition to Antarctica as Chief Mate aboard the AHTS Maersk Master as support ship for Sedco BP 471 drilling ship.

• Assisted worlds largest crane vessel Thialf on board AHTS Maersk Master in the operation of extending the Eko Fisk oilfield 1986.

• Elected member of the executive board for professional association of Danish Maritime Officers for the period between1995-1997.

• Appointed to create and develop the ISM manual and formulate SMS procedures and prepare the documentation for the same, which is a demanding and sizeable undertaking for a passenger service. Acted at same time for 6 years as Lead Auditor onshore/offshore for company auditing ISM/SMS and ISPS.

• Outstanding track record of strategic planning and project management for logistics, stock management, distribution planning and inventory management for large scale operations.
