I'm a marine professional wo is looking to work overseas. I have a masters license (500 Ton) and are very comfortable with Dynamic Positioning. I have over 15 years as a captain and have been the master on most vessels. I'm looking to utilize my DP skills on a larger vessel.

Responsibilities Included: The operation of the 6 passenger vessel on a daily basis, passenger safety, crew training and insure total compliance with all Coast Guard regulations.

Captain OUPV - Private Fishing Charters 1995-1996 Bohicket Yacht Charters John’s Island, SC
Responsibilities Included: The operation of the 6 person charter fishing boat on a daily basis, passenger safety, and insure total compliance with all Coast Guard regulations. including yearly inspections.

Captain 100 Ton Master - 49 Passenger Charter Vessel
1996 – 1999 Bohicket Yacht Charters John’s Island, SC
Responsibilities Included: The operation of a 49 passenger inspected vessel on a daily basis that acted as a ferry between two locations. Passenger safety, crew training and total compliance with all Coast Guard regulations including yearly inspections where my total responsibility.

1997 – 2002 Earl L. Neal Motor Vessel Yemanja Charleston, SC & Miami, FL
Responsibilities Included: The operation of the vessel, overseeing daily and yearly maintenance and major refits and shipyard work. Responsibilities also included the planning of all vessel movement, yearly budgeting and the coordination of the vessel’s staff in different ports based on activities. I insured total compliance with all US Coast Guard, US Customs and the requirements of each country the vessel visited.

Captain 100 Ton Master – Commercial Tug/Push-Boat
2005 – 2006 Stevens Towing Youngs Island, SC
I served on these vessels in a training capacity under two different masters and completed my ”Towing Officers Assessment Record” during that time. Responsibilities Included: The operation of two tugs ranging from 75’ to 95’ and up to 210 GT with approximately 3000 H.P. I operated vessels with a combined tug and barge lengths of over 500’. I was required to operate the vessel during lightering operations alongside ships moored in fast moving current, transit high traffic areas with large loads in close quarters. As the ships safety officer I conducted safety drills, and made sure the vessels complied with all Coast Guard regulations.

2006 - 2007 Charleston Marine Services Charleston, SC
Responsibilities Included: The operation of the vessel on a daily basis transporting passengers to an off-shore lightering facility. Passenger safety, crew training and compliance with all Coast Guard regulations was also my responsibility.

Captain 100 Ton Master 145’ & 165’ Supply Boat DP1 – Mate’s Position on both vessels
Jan / 2007 thru May / 2007 - Bordelon Marine
Responsibilities Included: The operation of the vessel on a daily basis transporting passengers and equipment to off-shore oil and gas facilities. I insured that the vessel remained in compliance with all company and Coast Guard regulations. Acted as the chief safety officer and was responsible for all drills conducted during my 28 day hitch. Record keeping included: log entries into both the ships log and the SAMM system for electronic log entries. I was also responsible for the ships HSE requirements including: JSA’s, Risk Improvement Reports, and Security reporting.

May 2007 to June 2008 - Gulf Fleet Management Lafayette, LA
Responsibilities Included: The operation of the vessel on a daily basis while transporting passengers and equipment to off-shore oil and gas facilities. As the Master, I’m responsible for conducting pre-work evaluations for all operations concerning the vessel. I set the standards for all safety training onboard, and insured that all crewmembers meet or exceed the requirements of the company, the client and the Coast Guard. I’m also responsible for all daily weekly and monthly reports covering every aspect of the vessel, its operations and its crew. As VSO I conducted all security training and I’m responsible for maintaining vessel security logs, and security arrangements with shore based facilities. As DPO I’m responsible for all training and insure that every bridge officer with a DP watch has a full understanding of his or her responsibility during that watch and further understands the operational limits of the equipment for the conditions that exist. In addition, I over-see the engineering department, every aspect of vessel maintenance, and monitor all consumables from food to fuel.

Captain 100 Ton Master 145’ DSV – 3rd Captain/Mate
June 2008 to Date - Oceaneering, Inc. Morgan City, LA
Responsibilities Included: Captain/Mate onboard a Diving Support Vessel. The operation of the vessel on a daily basis. Currently working in the Gulf of Mexico at various locations. , I’m responsible for conducting JSEA’s for all operations concerning the vessel, exclusive of dive operations. I’m also responsible for all daily reports; log entries – both rough and electronic logs. Chart corrections have been exclusively by me and most all correspondence with the main office.
