Please find enclosed precis of my CV. I am looking to go back to sea because I miss it and particularly enjoy it when I am deployed. The discipline, comraderie and team work I learned in the Royal Navy has made me a hard working individual. I am keen, smart, conscientious and able to take a joke as well as give one. 23 years in the Royal Navy as an Administrator both Junior and Senior Rate. Responsible for issues on pay, cash, travelling expenses, relocation benefits, budget & travel, money changing (when deployed0, Registry (Captain's Office at sea), Technical Office, Air Office and more recently supporting a busy Manufacturing Engineering Section by conducting maintenance, improvements, writing training manuals and updating documentation, data collection and training of individuals and the writing of the training manuals.

GCE 'O' Level History (C), English Language (C), CSE Grade 1 Rural Science, CSE Grade 2 Eng Lang/Lit, CSE Grade 3 Maths and Geography. Trained but expired in First Aid, Firefighting both at sea and ashore, NBCD, Sea Survival, Ship's Husbandry

I can adapt to any given situation which I have proved during my time in the Royal Navy and since leaving it through a diversity of jobs. I am looking to go back to sea again. I have sent off applications for ferries etc but as yet I have had no joy. It is a case of just persevering!
