EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
February 2008 to Present - 11 Explosive Ordinance Disposal Regiment RLC, Catterick
• Employed as an Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) Operator in a High Threat Improvised Explosive Device Disposal Team.
• Providing the Bomb Disposal officer with ECM cover whilst he attempts to render safe the device.
• Working alongside the police and military search teams during co-ordinated security operations to protect members of the Royal Family, government ministers and foreign dignitaries.
• Responsible for making threat assessments and ensuring that the ECM equipment is deployed effectively, safely and commensurate with the tactical situation.
• Often required to work alone and to make critical and potential life saving decisions typically under hostile and extremely dangerous conditions
• Completed an operational tour on a bomb disposal team in Afghanistan.
November 2006 to February 2008 - 1 Mechanized Brigade (215 Signal Squadron), Tidworth.
• Brigade Chief Of Staff’s radio operator
• Shift commander in the Brigade Communications Centre, responsible for:
o The security of classified documents up to SECRET UK EYES ONLY
o The security and accountancy of all cryptographic material
o Personnel management; supervision of up to 20 soldiers, co-ordinating and directing their tasks during shift, providing formal and on-the-job training, mentoring and guidance and looking after their immediate safety and welfare

o Message handling of signals of great operational urgency to HM Forces in Iraq

• Completed an operational tour to Iraq as a radio operator in direct close support of combat units
