I have been a service engineer working on Industrial and commercial sites carrying out service, maintenance and installation. The emphasis is on service work covering the central belt of Scotland. I participate in the company’s standby rota this is on a fortnightly basis.
11/07 to 04/08 JOHNSON CONTROLS Ltd
My duties within this position include maintenance, service and call-out. I have excellent experience on most types of industrial refrigeration plant including pump circ ammonia, Freon systems, package chillers and many types of commercial compressor packs.
07/97 to 11/07 STAR REFRIGERATION Ltd
After completing my apprenticeship I spent the next 6 years as a service engineer. My duties included service, maintenance and fault finding. During this period I was involved in the company’s 24hr standby rota for 7 years. During my time with Star I was also involved in several industrial installations from start to finish which involved assisting with commissioning. These plants range from Freon to Ammonia including pumped Co2.
