2002 –ConocoPhillips- Present - Marine Manager and Commercial Coordinator -Darwin Operating Centre (Includes Bayu – Undan Darwin LNG and future Projects in ABU )
Commercial and Marketing Interface for DLNG.
Providing input into Economic modeling.
Technical Team Leader and contract owner for Infield Support Vessels, Platform Support, pipeline surveying and all other marine related logistic and technical issues. Operations manager for MSV’s for tendering, operations, developing and ensuring Key performance indicators are being met.
Vetting Specialist for all Marine ( ISV’s , PSV’s) Boats and vessels(LPG,LNG and Condensate).
Pilot Contract Manager.
Contract owner of Weather Forecast services for offshore and onshore.
Marine Auditing process leader.
Responsible and developed business systems, procedures and the coordination of LNG voyages, schedules, and commercial marine analytical issues, also Integrated Marine / Maintenance / Production planning Systems.
Provided Marine and Commercial input into Sales Purchase agreement which includes Spot Cargo’s.
Championed Demurrage Calculations.
Executes Sales Purchase Agreement,
Issue production forecast and calculate
Entitlements/allocations.
Updates stock inventories on a daily basis and communicates to Unit Participants
Receives preferred lifting requests from Unit Participants, prioritizes and manipulates.
Provide marine input into the operations and interface of Gas Carriers and the loading terminal.
Coordinating of ship and loading berth designs related to loading operations.
Responsible for evaluation of the , Navigation ,marine operability of the terminal, including issues such as: Product Custody, Mooring ,Bunkering , Loading , Berthing ,Maneuvering transfer , Bill of Laden ,Support Vessel Operations , Security , Emergency, Safety and Security issues, Pilotage, surveyors, loading masters . Ship Shore loading procedures.
Ensures Project Risk Assessment includes and addresses marine operability issues.
Coordinate with local Port Authorities on Marine traffic management and all Jetty and navigational issues.
Assist with evaluation of Tender documents as related to marine operations.
Ownership of Lessons Learned procedures.
Review the marine related project progress and cost.
Contribute to monthly reports and other Sales reports for commercial reporting.
Facilitate and progress marine processes and systems design activities.
MBA in managing Finance and other relevant Units completed with Distinction.
HSE Roles and Responsibilities

Accountable for the safe, efficient operation of the Marine offloading plant and equipment on the Liberdade FSO and Darwin LNG site within the guidelines of the facility management systems and in accordance with the HSE and Operating Policies and Procedures which include HSE Leadership , Risk Management, Emergency Response, Auditing, Tap Root Investigation etc..
Responsible for Platform and Infield vessels compliance with company HSE requirements and protocol.

Building and Commissioning Phase.
Reviewed and Ensure all cargo/ Operational procedures and manual for the FSO cargo. operations are suitable and have all the relevant safeguards incorporated.
Assisted with FSO Safety Case.
Assisted with recruitment and training of operational personnel.
Participated in Factory Assistance Test (CTS, Loadicator etc).
Assisted Discipline Engineers with operational input .
Assisted with FSO Construction.
Actively participated in the commissioning phase of the project.
Operation Phase.
Ensured all cargo operations related activities are performed in compliance with Facility Safety Case, the ConocoPhillips Management System and all relevant statutory regulations.
Managed, planned and completed the first side to side offtake operation in the mid ocean for LPG in Australia and the biggest LPG Tanker to be moored in the world alongside an FSO.
Manage and Plan daily the cargo planning for the FSO with due regard for other operational consideration.
Plan Offtake Operations.
The right parameters for the Custody Transfer System are met.
Lead the safe berthing of shuttle tankers for both the tandem and side-to-side operations.
Completion of all relevant Shipping Documentation for Off take Operations and the signatory for Bills of Lading.
Providing Leadership skill at operational level to foster effective teamwork and motivating staff such that each person is able to work at their maximum efficiency to achieve job satisfaction and contribute positively to the operations function. This includes personnel development related activities, i.e mentoring and coaching of operations staff.
Assisting with the development of the operations component of the annual FSO operations budget.
Produces and issues monthly lifting programmed to Shift Supervisors and Unit Participants.
Receives and accept / reject change requests from Unit Participants as required to operate within constraints.
Advises and coordinates terminal documentation and Unit Participant lifting instructions.
Monitors daily terminal operations making necessary adjustments.
Coordinate shipping schedules and cargoes in conjunction with production targets.
Assists resolving demurrage claims as necessary.
Prepares various reports to the Designated Authority and Unit Participants.
Continuously monitors lifting schedule to ensure no production interruptions.
Manages shipping schedules to alleviate / reduce the potential for tank tops and demurrage -avoid high / low stock situations.
Implement, review and validate Marine operating procedures.
Liaise with DPA, Customs and Shipping Agents to ensure vessel entry procedures are followed and appropriate approval is obtained.
Vetting and Approval of all LPG vessels entering JPDA.
Tendering and principal for Pilotage and Tug Contracts.
Marine review for preparedness of DLNG Pre starts up phase.


2001- 2002: Port Control Officer/Assisting Harbor Master - Dampier Port

Authority (Biggest Tonnage Port in Australia).
Certified Member of Emergency Response Team for Dampier Port.
