Dear Sir/Madam,

I am currently completing a contract in the Southern Sector of the North Sea. This is an interesting job, however i would like to broarden my experience by seeking a carreer abroard. I hope that i will be considered for the position advertised.

Work Experience.

CLS/Perenco - Southern Sector North Sea Oct 08- Present

Working on the 23 Alfa as part of the Rope Access Electrical team. Completed survey of job and completed a job pack including ordering required materials.
Job included destruct of tray work, removal of instruments, fitting abandonment kits, fitting new tray-work and supports. Filling in daily progress reports to show at weekly meetings with OEE.


CAN/Centrica - Morecambe Bay Field Jul08- Oct 08

Whilst working in the Morecambe Bay Field I have shuttled daily to remote platforms around the Bay to complete the following tasks:
Destruct work on old Fire and Gas system on DP3, DP4 and DP6 this involved installing abandonment kits to cables or taking out the complete cable and relevant tray or ladder.
Installing new Fire and Gas detection system to Millom West. This involved making supports using cable tray, ladder rack, unistrut etc... Glanding cables to CompEx standards, installing new J/B’s. Testing and commissioning of the new installed Fire and Gas System. Filling out ITR’s when job was tested and complete.


Torque Solutions Ltd Feb 07-Jul 08 Maintenance Electrician.

At Torque Solutions I filled a mixed role between maintenance electrician and service engineer.
Duties included maintaining electrically driven hydraulic pumps, maintaining the companies premises, servicing torque tools whether in the workshop or on site. Completed several jobs for AMEC and EDECO on site at Aldbourough Gas Terminal.

Fishing trawler Miss Leanne. Sept 05- Dec 06 Ship maintenance engineer.

Trips of between 12 days and 3 months working as a maintenance engineer and as part of the deck crew. Duties involve maintaining both a CAT and a Cummins motor and all electrical and Hydraulic systems on board.


New Interiors Sept 02-Jun 05 Completed apprenticeship.

Appart from an A-level I have no other qualifications in IT however I do consider myself to be competent. I have no problems in completing reports or written communication using the computer.

I have a considerable amount of experience in Bolt Tightening and Tensioning and would be capeable of following a sequence. I have vast knowlege of bolting tools including service and repair.
