I am responsible for the Mechanical Maintenance Department supervision. Including some hands on work as and when required .It is also my responsibility to carryout all risk assessments and writing of all permits to work. (ISSOW) Associated with the mechanical maintenance and commissioning of equipment supplied to the project. Also the planning and scheduling of work to be carried out in all departments. Writing of all reports and ordering of spares up to the value one million US dollars.

Project(s): COTCO – Maintenance Area 2 – Pumping Station 2; Dompta - Cameroon
Role: Mechanical Lead/ E.R.T. Leader

I was responsible for overseeing all work carried out in the mechanical maintenance department and the heavy Equipment workshops that I supervised. And lead by example in the overhaul of Diesel power generation equipment and air and gas compressors - pumps valves- and all other equipment associated with oil and gas pipeline transportation I also had mentoring/coaching duties to implement. In the development of the local and national workforce including carrying out risk assessments and writing all the permitary (ISSOW) for all work carried out. Also completing of work orders. It was also my responsible for liaising with vendors in the commissioning of new equipment supplied to the project while supporting the engineering department, taking an active roll within management meetings. I was also responsible for SAP/IPES system inputs and routine maintenance corrective work orders and ordering of materials.

With some hands on work when required Within my role I was also responsible for carrying out vibration analysis and trending the repair and servicing of Air and gas compressors the overhaul of various types of pumps diesel powered generator sets and all other mechanical equipment associated with an offshore oil and gas production platform .A major part of the job was to carryout risk assessments and compile permits to work and update all SAP records liaise with vendors and mentor a number of apprentices. I was also responsible as an E.R.T. Leader

My main duties in this roll were to commission new equipment and oversee the repair and overhaul of Air and gas Recip screw and vane compressors regardless of pressure rating and all auxiliary associated equipment. Overhaul of Diesel powered compressor drivers of various manufactures this work was carried out in the offshore and onshore oil and gas and petro-chemical industries worldwide.

My main duties were to maintain overhaul and repair Diesel and Steam powered main engines and generator sets. Various types of pumps boilers Air compressors and all other ancillary equipment associated with seagoing oil transportation .All of this work was carried out around the world both seagoing and dry Docks.
