I have included below some basic information about my self.

I am a registered nurse with over two years experience working at a senior level within the hospital critical care environment and in hyperbaric medicine. More recently I have worked as an Emergency Care Practitioner as a sole medic, working at advanced life support levels within the pre-hospital environment. I am skilled in dealing with minor injuries and illness as well as life-threatening medical and trauma emergencies. I have managed multi trauma accident scenes and worked with local GP and social services departments assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide spectrum of presentations and providing onward referrals as appropriate. I have been involved in the management of both road and aero medical evacuations.

I have experience in managing small teams of my peers and other clinical staff. I am fully computer literate with excellent record keeping abilities and understand stores management. I have a basic knowledge of health and safety in remote and offshore environments.

I am a confidant communicator and a proficient trainer and mentor, teaching junior staff and student nurses.

To build on and consolidate my previous skills and training, I undertook the offshore training to broaden my scope of opportunity within this industry.

Duties
Sole Medic onboard cable Barge UR101 P.O.B. 46.
Day to day medical care of all POB including first aid, ALS/ATLS at scene in case of accident. Fleet Medic for 3 Anchor Handling Tugs, 1 crew boat and 1 dive boat
Maintain and update POB database, crew change over, accommodation
Prepare, manage and file DPR, 5 day work forecast and minutes of meetings
Process HOT cards, log outcomes and track changes
Maintain crew time-sheet and expensed database and file with HQ for salaries
Update and maintain muster station role call lists, accommodation lists.
Completed order forms, database orders and cross reference with stock received.
Hygiene checks
Advisor on occupational health issues, including environmental surveys, health surveillance, promotion and co-ordination of all lifestyle activities.
I was also involved in all the HSE matters that are related to the crew.
