I am an experienced USCG Licensed Vessel Master - All Oceans - Passport - and all other certifications, documents and licenses needed to work international. My strength is working with SAT/ROV dive support vessels. I have numerous skills. I am a "people" person and I enjoy working with the different nationalities and cultures. I enjoy my work and I like to perform my duties in a professional manner and also with respect to everyone.

I have been a USCG Licensed Vessel Master since 1973 in the USA. I worked on push boats and oil well gauging crews as the vessel captain. After spending 8 years as a 200 ton vessel master, I upgraded my license to 500 ton vessel master working as a mate on 185' to 220' offshore supply vessels. I spent 12 years on supply vessels and specialty supply vessels working with ROV and surface divers. I upgraded my licesne to 1600/3000 ton vessel master - all oceans - and worked on SAT/ROV dive support vessels for the past 10 years. During the past 8 years I have held an Unlimited Dynamic Positoining Operators Certificate while working with SAT/ROV dive support vessels that used dynamic positioning systems.

I have graduated High School. I then enlisted in the United States Army. I was placed in the 51st Combat Engineers Battalion in Viet Nam. I am a Viet Nam Veteran with several commendation medals. I spent 3 years in the Army and I was Honorably Dicharged. I then came back to the USA and started working on receiving my vessels masters license.

I did not grow up with computers as a child and a young adult. However, as I applied myself in my carreer as a professional sailor, I worked on my computer skills as much as I could. Over the years, I have implemented my learning skills to constantly improve daily. I am profficient in Windows, Word, and all of the major different computer programs that I have encountered. Sometimes the company will enstate a new program specifically designed for our vessel or sometimes it is for the fleet. I have mastered all of these programs and I can trouble shoot all of the major programs myself.

I am a "Can Do" and also a "Mission Accomplished" person. I enjoy working with the environment with a lot of different people and cultures around the world. I do have "people skills" because I find it an enjoyable event to interact with different nationalities.
