1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]
I am looking to stay working on the ocean. I have over 12 years experience working in the fishing industry, but want a change to something more challenging. I have no problem with working away for periods of time, as I have done that with land based mining. I don't wish to relocate to another country, but for the right position, I would consider it.
I hope you help me in my endeavor.
2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]
I have worked in the ray-fishing Industry for about twelve years on and off. I have experience both on deck and Captaining the vessel.
I have about twelve months experience working on a mine site / quarry site, driving a Dump Truck.
My most recent employment was working on Hamilton Island with a Boat Charter Company, taking tourists on tours around the Whitsundays, this was only a temporary assignment, as was the 2 months I spent in stores at Sea World on the Gold Coast.
I have just finished up working on deck in the cray-fishing industry again.
3. Education & Training - CV/Resume Part 3 [Mandatory]
Master V in fishing (trade time will be completed in a few weeks, only waiting on paperwork)
MED II (both completed in 2004 at Geraldton Tafe)
Heavy Rigid License (Needed for Dump Truck Operations)
4. Computer Skills - CV/Resume Part 4 [Mandatory]
Very limited, but I learn quickly.
5. Other Skills - CV/Resume Part 5 [Optional]
I am a very hard working laborer, having done a few jobs which included a lot of lifting. I work extremely well with other people, and I'm always up for something to challenge myself, maybe even a bit of danger!
6. Additional Information - CV/Resume Part 6 [Optional]
I know I have no experience in the oil industry, but given the chance I won't disappoint!
