Realization of a sewage water project in Djerba city using activated sludge, primary settlement, digestion and composting as sludge treatment options, treating capacity is 2000 m3/day; biologic charge is 900 Kg BOD5.

- PROJECT 19/2004 (Duration: 06 months; Client: Ministry of Agriculture)
Supply and installation of a river pumping station to delivery water for irrigated perimeters and to satisfy agricultural needs of the farmers with a capacity Q = 60 l/s at HMT = 80 m; (Electric panel for N=2+1 and Pu = 37 KW).

- PROJECT 02/2004 (Duration: 16 months; Client: Ministry of Interior)
The scope of works was construction and equipment of a treatment station using the compact treatment process to separate blood from water and to delivery standards effluent parameters, the capacity of the project is 75 m3/day, biologic charge is 70 Kg BOD5.

- PROJECT 2414/2005 (Duration: 14 months; Client: Settlement Landed Agency)
Realization of the infrastructure for the Ain Zaghouan zone, the activities of the project involve construction and equipment of six pumping stations:
Station Aziza [Capacity : Q = 183 l/s with a HMT 10 m ; (Electric panel for N= 3+1 / Pu = 9 KW)] Station Elmostakbel [Capacity: Q = 24 l/s with a HMT 5.1 m ; (Electric panel for N= 1+1 / Pu = 2 KW)]

Irrigation Lot II [Capacity: Q = 230 l/s with a HMT = 32 m; (Electric panel for N= 3+1 / Pu = 45 KW)]

- PROJECT 94/2006 (Duration: 18 months; Client: Settlement Landed Agency)
This project is conceived as the long term solution to meet Mrezga's needs in used water collection, treatment and disposal throughout the 2020 year, treated water is used for agricultural and industrial use, the population equivalent at the future horizon is 50825 people, and treat capacity is Qm= 5083 m3/d; Biologic charge = 2033 kg DBO5/d) Actual horizon the station treating 2500 m3/d and 1000 Kg DBO5/d.

- PROJECT 02/2007 (Duration: 22 months; Client: Littoral Agency)
The aim of this mega-project is to improve the infrastructure of the salinity zone in Mahdia in order to minimize the negative impact of the activities on the environment and meet long-term needs for the management used water, the sustainable solution sought was to realize six pimping stations in advance

The main component to the project was to install storm water pumping station and rehabilitating canal to improve drainage and minimize urban flooding.

VI°-Duties/Responsibilities

1°-For projects in favor of the public sector:
• Prepares detailed scope of work for each project and follows-up on its progress until completion.
• Prepare Tender documents for relevant projects as and when required.
• Prepare project definition plans and feasibility study for any project before singing it and plan work schedules to ensure adequate services.
• Using and application of a variety of software and simulation packages in order to Keeping all hydraulic models and inventory data up to date including manage consultant activities in all issues related to hydraulic modeling calculation.
• Provide support in the definition of the execution phase and in the preparation and management of the tender documentation for material procurement and for Execution contracts.
• Prepare technical specification, initiates enquiries and purchase requests for materials and equipment, appraises technically the suppliers' bids and recommends the technically acceptable bids. This involves frequent contacts with vendors.
• Participate to be a significant part of the Business development strategy to be implemented and advice on the installation methods of various process equipments.
• Build and maintains relationships based on the partnership approach and negotiates at a senior level with internal, external business partners, clients and customers.
• Inspect, evaluate physical condition of establishment and establish work procedures of housekeeping staff.
• Evaluate risk and business trade-offs to achieve optimal business solutions and results.
• Establishes overall business plans to achieve business growth, profit and improvement, specify requirements and ensure resources are in place in the short and medium term.



• Prepare, monitor any factor and keep up to date the new parameters according to projects implementation dates and review of contractual issues related to the process work.
• Scans the internal and external environment to identify and exploit business opportunities and/or introduce best practice with Co-ordinating and integrating diverse inputs to ensure realization of targets.
• Review of process criteria, Hydraulic profiles and the related plant process drawings and actively seek to determine internal and external customer requirements.
• Provide support in the preparation of the documentation and data for the decision support package
• Guide the Contractor to carry out works as per the contract specifications with Drawings and Advancing technical capability to the highest standard.
• Lead the team, Carrie out resourcing and succession planning for the division.
• Coordination between Electrical, Mechanical, Process and Civil disciplines and be involved in emergency response planning, field exercises, and emergency response support.
• Seek and exploit opportunities for adding value, improving client/customer service and efficiency and effectiveness through continuous change in business processes.
• Be responsible for the designing and for the technical and financial management of projects and business development including the pre-qualifications of Material/equipment suppliers and Construction Contractors in order to ensure effectiveness of design and optimize as necessary.
• Examining vendors' documentation, contributing in spares parts lists definition and participating to meetings.
• Following-up and controlling the testing of new/modified equipment, systems and machinery.
• Calculate in terms of man-hour the load of each project, includes the engineering designs, the selection and the installation/commissioning of equipment.
• Report on the job progress during the Engineering Design, Appraisal, Execution, Completion phases to Supervisor and provide effective communication on project reports and correspondence.
• Work on own initiative and manage performance objectives with the confidence to present feedback to a high level on current status, actions and strategies.
• Manage incident prevention efforts including hazard alerts, contractor evaluations, contractor inspections and other communication and awareness efforts
• Responsible for the creation of the optimal solution with an understanding of the complex issues involved, compliance with ever-changing regulations, and the increasing costs of developing and maintaining an effective sewerage system.
• Managing the progress, deviation from plans, potential problems and internal or external conditions that may affect performance and identifying recovery impacts.
• Trouble-shoot problems occurring in the production facilities, carry out proper diagnosis of causing factors and recommends appropriate actions.
• Monitoring, inspecting, reviewing and verifying the performance of the maintenance contractors and their respect of time scheduling.
• Diagnosing faults and trends and taking or recommending appropriate corrective action.
• Supervising the construction of the works, monitor and report on project progress to the client, division and Project Managers.
• Compiling, completing and submitting of reports and documentation to the required standards and at the relevant frequency.
• Take ownership for the business, suggest improvements and build client relationships and marketing Water Services in the course of meeting or exceeding client expectations on assignments on-time and on budget.

• Report writing and tender preparation
• Determine client requirements, conduct and manage site surveys and investigations, produce calculations, specifications and drawings to ensure that technical designs provide appropriate solutions.
• Prepare feasibility studies and system design for sustainable and renewable hydraulic solutions for various projects to meet safety, Technical, Operating requirements and site condition.
• Develop the designs for a dependable collection and treatment plan that is crucial to maintaining the quality of water supplies and/or working on schemes for utilities companies, land owners, local authorities and private organizations, as well as internal clients.
• Conduct performance test, analyses results and highlights areas not conforming to company's standards and recommend to supervisor economical/practical solution.
• Conduct feasibility studies on recurring production/environmental problems, on upgrading of existing plant and equipment, or on new techniques/ equipment as directed. Recommend technically sound/cost effective and safe modifications/equipment as appropriate.
• Ensuring the operational process parameters and the plant hydraulic set up are incorporated and achievable.
• Leading and directing specialist design and engineering contractors
• Providing expert guidance and consultation on all aspects of training to the relevant line Managers which will enable them to enhance employee development and overall company performance.
