I have a wealth of knowledge & experience as a Marine Manager & Superintendent and in the disciplines of Marine Engineering and Contracts & Project Management gathered for over 30 years in the Marine Industry.
I have been with this Company for nearly 13 years as the Manager of the Marine Consultant Division and as such I have the duties & responsibilities associated with that Managerial position.
As well as those responsibilities I am the Superintendent for all aspects of dockings and major refits & also a Project Manager for many Engineering projects. I am the Company Quality Manager ensuring compliance to ISO9001-2000 and Lloyds Register standards. I have a sound knowledge of the ISM code and am responsible for ensuring HSE procedures are adhered to.
I have also been a Marine Engineer on many RAN vessels for over 30 years including position as Chief Engineer on various Minor War vessels for 12 years with over 22 years offshore. Apart from my skills & experience in the Marine Industry and those of Project Management I have a nature & personality which have helped earn the respect & admiration from numerous people including my staff, LRS representatives, Senior Defence representatives, Sub-Contractors and many others. I am comfortable communicating at all levels & I believe I have the ability generate a great rapport & understanding with all order of people from labourers & tradesmen to senior management. These abilities have enabled me to receive unrivalled service and loyalty from Sub-Contractors and letters of thanks & endorsement from many others associated with the industry
I have worked & lived previously in Tuvalu & Fiji as the Senior Engineering Advisor for those countries Navies.
