1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]
Since beginning my career offshore in 1979 as a deckhand in the Gulf of Mexico I quickly moved to an unlicensed engine room position within the first 6 months and had received my first 100 ton license by 1981. As I advanced during the next 30 years to 500 ton, 1600 ton and oceans master I have accumulated over 4000 days of experience under all conditions and while running a variety of vessels from crew boats, utility boats, supply boats, AHTS, Tugs, Sightseeing boats, Ferry boats and even water taxies. All without a lost time accident or injury to a crewmember. I worked for a 4 year period in a shore side position as a Vessel Operations Assistant and gained valuable insight into the support side of the industry.
