1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]

Work in a technical position using my testing and project management skills.

Career Summary
- Reduced spare parts backlog from over 3000 parts to less than 1000 by creating a spare parts manufacturing department thereby dedicating part of the plant to spare parts alone.
- Reduced testing time of the missile launcher system from one month to about one week by increasing the amount of component level testing thereby eliminating errors at full assembly.
- Recapture major customer General Electric by resolving delinquent payment of one million dollars thus improving relations and the capture of a two million dollar order for Italy.
- Managed sales territory of over 1.5 million dollars in test equipment orders per year with major customers of 3M and IBM and developing small customers.
- Repaired and maintained ships pumps, compressors, diesel generators, water makers, motors, electronics and other ships equipment.
- Became lead tester for a testing crew of 10 testers dealing with over 100 orders/trouble tickets per week.
- Passed Engineer in Training test.

1996 - 1998 – Drilling Engineering Assistant and MWD/Baker Hughes/DMI – Wrote final well reports, proposals, quotes, revenue reports, performed well planning, set up internet services, expert on MS Excel. Worked on land drilling sites logging MWD information. Manned shift. Set up and tear down of MWD equipment. Assisted drilling engineers at well site.

1991 - 1996 – Teacher/Various - teaching math, physics and computer science for high school students. Certified in Math and Computer Science in Texas.

1987 - 1991 – University of Minnesota/MHFA - Computer assistant assisting faculty and staff with computer usage on software and hardware. Installing and maintaining network of IBM and Macintosh computers.

1983 - 1987 – Business Development Engineer/Tektronix – Sale of Test and Measurement Instrumentation including oscilloscopes, TDR’s, power supplies, digitizers and ohm meters.

1982 - 1983 – Marketing Engineer/Rosemount Engineering- Marketed products sold to Nuclear Power Industry. Managed contacts with customers in the nuclear industry. Responded to RFQ’s for RTD’s and pressure transmitters.

1978 - 1982 – Test Engineer and Project Manager/FMC - Naval Missile Launchers (Hydro-Mech-Elec devise). Tested servo control systems, electronic systems, developed test stations, wrote test procedures. Managed activities of the spare parts group. Interacted with the COO.
