I currently work as an environmental consultant assisting in the technical and managerial preparation of environmental and social impact assessment studies, environmental due diligence, and environmental management plans for coastal/marine and land-based projects in Europe, Latin-America (Panama, Mexico, El Salvador, Peru, and Argentina), Middle East and Africa. My work experience also includes elaboration and review of environmental management plans, stakeholder plans and sustainability chapters for environmental impact assessment studies.
My duties include reporting and delivery to meet deadlines, supervising local sub-consultants, budget control, project administration and management, coordination and teamwork with specialist scientists, on-site monitoring, stakeholder consultations and client liaison. This experience shows my strong organizational skills and teamwork in multi-ethnic environment. I am also capable to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines.
Other experience includes working with the Department of Natural Resources of North Carolina (US), Division of Coastal Management assisting in coastal management projects such as Calculating Shoreline Change Rates in North Carolina coast using both remote sensing and geographical information system software, demonstrating my research, computer skills and database management.
I am Chartered Marine Scientist and regional coordinator of the Institute of Marine Engineering Science and Technology (IMarEST) young members network in the development and organisation of workshops, conferences in the field of marine sciences. Please look at my Personal History Profile (PHP) for additional information about my experience and qualifications.
