I've a bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters degree in Computational Engineering from University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. I had worked in the Numerics & Simulation wing of the Crystal Growth Department of Fraunhofer Institute Erlangen(IISB) during my last 3 semesters of my studies on a 20hrs/week basis before taking up the full-time position in the same group as Scientific CFD Expert(Wissenschaftliche CFD Expert), details of which are mentioned in my resume attached along with my academic credentials to this mail.
As a computational engineer I'm equally good in programming(C, C++), numerics and the engineering simulations and analysis and have worked with various industrial CFD software tools on UNIX, Linux and Windows platforms.
I've a strong academic background and professional experience in fluid mechanics particularly in 'heat and mass transfer' and would treasure working on other fluid mechanics topics as well. In addition, I had academic interests in FEM and structural mechanics and am cognizant exposed to fluid-structure interaction problems.
