I would like to apply with your organization for the position of an Quality Control Engineer/Inspector in Welding/Mechanical/Piping where my prior experience will support you to obtain your company's mission. This experience includes expertise in:
• Knowledge and understanding mechanical construction/installation of offshore platform, petrochemical plants, Oil & Gas Plant, Power Plant, Steel Plant, Storage tanks, Fabrication and Assembly of CALM BUOY and PLEM.
• Inspection/ Quality Control/NDT for Welding, Piping, Mechanical works, Structural steel. fabrication/erection, Boiler proper & external piping, Fired heater assembling, Hot taping in live line in ISO 9000 working environment.
• Fully familiar with different International Standard i.e. ASME Sec.I, II, V, VIII, IX; B31.1, 31.3, 31.8; AWS D1.1; API 650 /1104, NACE, British, AISC, ASTM and other commonly used in Construction industries. Also familiar with Shell, Mobil, Aramco, QP, Petronus, KNPC, NAOC, BAPCO working standards.
• Good supervisory skills capable of directing several teams simultaneously to achieve a common goal.
• Team player who identifies and develops strengths with other team members.

• European Welding Inspection Practitioner 1992
• ASNT Level II in RT, UT, MT, PT
• QC I & QC II (Welding Inspector, Radiographs Interpretation)
• Sea Survival trained
• Basic firefighting trained

• H2S and Breathing apparatus trained

Job Responsibilities-Performed all the Mechanical/ Piping /Welding/Functional Inspections for fabrication and assembling of two CALM BUOY and two PLEM on behalf of Qatar Gas. Review ITPs, Materials certificates, Procedures, QCRs and Complete Dossier.

Job Responsibilities-Responsible for the successful performance of welding, welding quality control and inspection of welding related operations for the Storage Tanks of capacity of 85000 cubic meter each. Ensuring that the WPS, Welders and weld materials are qualified per project requirements. Planning and recommend the allocation of subcontractor’s welding/mechanical inspectors and giving them technical expertise. Witnessing inspection activities. Monitoring welding test results and identifies any adverse quality trends, plan and take necessary action when adverse quality trends are observed. Ensure that required welding records e.g. procedure qualifications, welder’s qualification, repair rates, weld/welder trace ability, etc are maintained in accordance with project requirements. Review /verify inspection documents and test result generated by subcontractor and issue to Company. Consumables controlling. Witness welding and welder/welding operator qualification tests in accordance with regulations, codes & specification. Witnessing final inspection and hydro test. Attending QC meeting with Customer and Subcontractor.

June’05 To November’05

Project- Low Sulphur Diesel Prod. Project, BAPCO, Bahrain Main Contractor- JGC ME
Job Responsibilities– Responsible for managing the Inspection and Quality Control program at Project site. Developing QCPs, ITPs for the project. Supervising the Welding/QC Inspectors. Carryout Internal Audit, NCR / DR report, specifying Corrective /Preventive action. Doing interpretation of weld radiographs. Attending Quality Audits. Maintaining/Controlling list of Calibrated IM&TE. Liaison with Customer, attending QC meeting.

Project- Okpai Integrated Power Plant & IRRI Gas supplies Projects, Nigeria.
Job Responsibilities- Making and reviewing the WPS. Overall responsibility for the Quality Control and Inspection of pre-fabrication activities for super duplex piping welding, painting. Surveillance of Subcontractor jobs. Inspection of Boiler Proper & External piping & welding.

March’03 To September’03

Project- Soroosh & Nowroz Integrated Development Project, Shell, Iran.

Job Responsibilities– Inspection in charge of Fabrication, installation of Wellhead Platforms, Process Platforms, Jackets, Bridges and related Piping (Duplex and other)/Vessels/Tanks.
Liaison with Client. Monitoring of stage wise completion and reviewing final documents.
