Oct 2006 – Present Senior Offshore Engineer Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping (OHM)
• Worked offshore for up to 9 weeks at a time, conducting Controlled Source Electromagnetic Imaging (CSEMI) surveys, working to exacting standards to maintain data reliability.
• Maintained, serviced and rectified faults on various electronic survey systems and their computer controllers, some fibre optically controlled and high voltage supplied.
• Took personal responsibility for progressing and updating the company's Health and Safety management system.
• Rapidly promoted to Shift Leader and then Senior Engineer taking on increased engineering and managerial responsibilities.
• Enjoyed good working relationships with other crew, engineers and managers alike including mentoring junior crew members.
July 2003 – 0ct 2006 Avionics Technician Royal Air Force
• Maintained, serviced and rectified faults on C-130 Hercules aircraft in support of Royal Air Force operations during a period of increased tasking while maintaining uncompromising engineering excellence.
• Deployed to Basra, Iraq for 5 months operating under increased workloads with reduced manpower and minimal supervision, successfully maintaining a demanding flying program with superb target results.

• Organized and managed a team of up to 7 avionics tradesmen, including engineering supervision and prioritizing tasks to ensure operational objectives were consistently met.
Feb 2002 – July 2003 Advanced Avionics Trainee Royal Air Force
• Trained to Royal Air Force Technician standard in Aircraft Avionics from theory to fault diagnosis down to electronic component level. Computing, programming, instrumentation and PCB’s were all included in the syllabus.

Feb 2000 – Feb 2002 Avionics Mechanic Royal Air Force
• Maintained, serviced and rectified faults on L-1011 Tristar aircraft in support of Royal Air Force operations.
• Routinely travelled abroad with aircraft to ensure their continued operation. This involved liaising with numerous professionals and organizations of different nationalities to acquire the necessary engineering assets.
• Deployed to Seeb, Oman for 2 months living in basic conditions while maintaining refueling aircraft flying to very strict sortie deadlines as other forces depended on them. A 100% operational success rate was achieved.
