Job Title: Personal Financial Analyst
Duties: Helping families and businesses with budget plans, retirement plans, college plans, debt elimination plans, consolidations and income protection plans.

Trained and supervised members of my team in all aspects of personal and business financial management.

1985 – Stationed aboard U.S.S. Saratoga CV-60
Operated, maintained and repaired (2) 1200psi superheated Babcock an Wilcox Boilers, one set of 12,000 shaft horse power steam turbine engines, various centrifugal pumps, air ejectors, eductors, lube oil pumps, turbine generators, oil purifiers, fuel pumps and various other pieces of associated equipment.

1987 – Stationed aboard U.S.S. Hermitage LSD-34
Served as the only air conditioning and refrigeration technician aboard. Operated and maintained 2 reciprocating direct expansion refrigeration units, 4 reciprocating indirect expansion air conditioning units, several ice-machines, drink dispensers, soft drink machines, salad bars, under counter refrigerators and package A.C. units maintained and repaired all steam heating systems plus equipment.

1989 – Stationed aboard U.S.S. Hunley AS-31
Attached to r-9 outside repair division. Performed maintenance and preventive maintenance to nuclear level one system and sub systems aboard nuclear power submarines.

1990 – Employed at “Craftmasters” Nashville, TN
Responsible for repairs to air conditioning and refrigeration equipment at Pizza Hut, Taco – Bell, Western Sizzling, The Wrangler and several hotels in and around the Nashville area.

1991 – Employed at “Pillsbury”, Murfreesboro, TN
Employed by Fluor Daniels Maintenance.
Obtained Journeyman Millwright Card. Worked as air conditioning and refrigeration plant mechanic and operator. Also worked as boiler plant operator and assisted as production line mechanic.
Equipment included: Vilter two stage screw type ammonia compressors, Vilter reciprocating 60 lb. ammonia compressors, Vilter reciprocating 45 lb. Ammonia compressors, Worthington air compressors and various pumps, plus auxiliary equipment. Kewanee package type boiler, Kewanee hot water boiler, North American boiler, Badger water softener, Culligan water softener and various auxiliary equipment.

1992 – 2002 - Alvin C. York V.A. Medical Center
Operated and maintained the air conditioning and boiler plants. The boiler plant consisted of three Cleaver Brooks 26,000 p.p.h. rated boilers which produced 117 lb. steam to the hospital complex. The chiller plant consisted of one 650 ton York chiller, one 1200 ton train chiller, and one 1200 ton carrier chiller. The buildings were controlled utilizing Siemens Apogee Insight software. The controls were both d.d.c. and pneumatic. There were over 50 air handling units for approximately 40 buildings on a 290 acre complex.

2002-28Sept2006 - Alvin C. York V.A. Medical Center
Employed as air conditioning equipment mechanic. Trouble shot and repaired various air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems

23 Oct 06 – Sept –Technician at Nutemp/Carrier Rental Systems.
Performed maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, of all major brands of chillers and air- conditioning equipment from 10 tons – 2000 tons. Performed set-up and teardowns of various configurations in order to accomplish the costumers cooling objectives.

Sept 07 – 5Jan08 – United Services Mechanical
Performed Maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs on various air conditioning equipment and systems. To include package units, split systems, chillers of all sizes, and boilers.

7Jan08 – 29sept08 – Hunton Trane
Perform maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs on various air conditioning equipment and systems. Perform warranty repairs on Trane factory equipment.

29Sept08 – present – Mary Brunson ( StateFarm Insurance Agency). Specializing in sales of life insurance and financial products.


1985 – 1987 While stationed aboard U.S.S. Saratoga CV-60 supervised # 2 main machinery room personnel while serving as the leading Petty officer and training Petty officer. I had twenty-six personnel under my supervision.

1987 – 1989 Leading Petty officer of A – division on board U.S.S. Hermitage LSD-34. Supervised twenty-four personnel.

1990 – Assisted in supervising the outside repair division aboard U.S.S. Hunley AS- 31.

1984 – United States Navy Boiler Technician. Six years obligation Advanced Operator School.
Intensive training in the theory and operation, preventive maintenance, regular maintenance, trouble shooting, casualty control, water chemistry of 1200psi and 600psi superheated steam power plants and associated equipment. To include 120,000shaft horsepower main engines, steam driven forced draft blowers, fuel, oil, booster and feed pumps, ship service turbine generators, oil purifiers and circulating water pumps.

1985 – Advanced Maintenance School.
Trained in and practically applied the reading of detailed blue prints, Technical manuals and specifications. Training in calibration and reading of precise measuring equipment in order to properly build, rebuild and maintain all steam plant and distilling plant equipment.

Distilling Plant Operator School
Trained in the operation, maintenance and theory of distilling plants. Operated and maintained various types of distilling plants to include 12,000 gallons per day flash type units, 20,000 gallons per day submerged tube type units, reverse osmosis purifiers, water softening systems and deionizing units

Water Chemistry School
Intensive training in water chemistry testing and treatment as it pertains to steam power plants. Created and utilized all chemicals used in the testing and treatment process.

JR. Petty Officer Leadership, Management, Education and Training School
Learned about proper techniques of personnel management and various leadership skills. Participated in the interactive studies of leading, directing and motivating personnel and various Management styles and their practical application.

1987 – Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Class “C” School
Trained in theory, application, trouble shooting, operation and maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems.
Obtained Naval classification code 4294.

1988 – Leadership, Management, Education and Training School for Leading Petty Officers
Training similar to that of JR Petty Officers with more emphasis on middle to upper level management.
