CV/Resume Details
1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]
I am a 27 year old, located in Oslo where I've lived the last eight years. Originally I'm from the southern part of Norway, more correct, Arendal. But I moved to Oslo to take my education.
As a person I will say that I'm outgoing and I have an open mind. I like to meet new people and work in a team, but also at the same time I don't mind or are afraid to work alone.
I'm also a happy person and I get motivated easily and I’m devoted to my work. With this I see myself as a positive contributor to the work environment.
When it comes to stress and hectic workdays I will say that I can handle this in a positive way.
I've always wanted to work offshore and now I feel that it is the time for me to do something about that. So when I first discovered this website I did not hesitate to register my CV!
On my spare time I like to read books, exercise; jogging or swimming and travel. I also have an interest in sailing and diving.
2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]
2008 - Easter 2009
My last job was for HP (Hewlett Packard) where I worked, and still work, as a Price Administrator. The tasks I have here is: Making sure that the HP's distributors and partners have the correct prices, at any time, for all the negotiated contracts. I also make sure that all new deals are communicated out to the distributors. The reason that I don’t have this job after the end of March 2009 is because this job moved to Bucharest together with the similar position in the other Nordic countries. I did participate in this moving-project together with Denmark, Sweden and Finland.
2007 - 2008
My former job was at a software company, VISMA Software AS. My role here was Administration Coordinator. This was a job with variable assignments. I never had two similar days! My tasks could be to make sure that the fire entrances was in satisfaction recording to the given directions. I also called electricians, plumbers or caretaker if that was needed. I made sure that all the board meeting reports were signed and archived, some hotel and flight reservations, coordinate internal moving etc.
End 2005 - 2007
Before VISMA I had a job at GYDA Godtespesialisten BA where I worked as a Marketing Secretary. GYDA Godtespesialisten BA is a confectionary chain with about 30 profiled shops. My task here was to inform all the shops about campaigns and making sure that the campaigns were followed. The making of advertising posters in collaboration with designer, making sure that the prices in the cash-registry system was updated, communication with the suppliers about delivery to the shops regarding the campaigns, support function for all the GYDA members. I addition to that I also took care of the reception and incoming calls
2004 - 2007
When I was a student I worked as a waitress at The Mini Bottle Gallery. This is a mini bottle museum which is open for social gatherings.
3. Education & Training - CV/Resume Part 3 [Mandatory]
I have, almost, a Bachelor degree in Public Relation from BI Norges Markedshøyskole.
I'm missing two exams, one in statistics and one in history.
At the University of Oslo I also have the preliminary entrance examination; Examen Philosophicum and Examen Facultatum.
4. Computer Skills - CV/Resume Part 4 [Mandatory]
I've always used a computer for school assignments and for work so I'm quite familiar with the programs in the Windows Office-package and feel comfortable with using them as a tool in everyday use. I consider my computer skills to be good.
