To redefine the existing business practices and location to achieve desired growth in sales and operational excellence.
• To acquire, retain and extend new and existing business growth through structural sales and comprehensive account management of project cargo in region.(EPC, Energy and Resource Sector)
• Travel throughout nominated regions expanding DHL project services and scope.
• Manage pre qualifications and regional tenders.
• Manage 3rd party contractors constantly, ensuring service quality compliance and competitive rate levels.
• Interface with operational project team in order to ensure safe project execution to client’s satisfaction, consistent with cost, schedule and contractual requirements.

Internally promoted and relocated to Country Manager, in charge of Aktau and Atyrau offices on the Caspian Sea, Western Kazakhstan.
Responsibilities and duties:-
• Responsible for developing and generating new business in the CIS and further abroad for the Pentagon Freight Services International Network.
• Target key oil and gas business globally with main focus on the Caspian Region.
• Provide multi modal freight options the oil industry in this extremely time sensitive and challenging environment.
• Onsite supervision of project cargo, air charters and rig moves.
• Importing of high value extra sensitive nickel alloy pipe ex Japan to Aktau and on forwarding to AGIP KCO in bond.
• Negotiate third party rates and contracts to maximize service levels and profitability for PFS Kazakhstan.
• Travel extensively to develop new foreign partnerships and maintain the current ones.
• Employ, train, motivate and pursue optimum performance levels from all staff members. (Annual staff training is a compulsory requirement for foreign managed companies in Kazakhstan.)
• Responsible for, targets, forecasts and budgets annually
• Responsible for Kazakhstan’s operations & accounts.
• Increased cliental and scope of work resulted in opening an office further North in Atyrau.

Regional Sales Manager (Middle East) Pentagon Freight Services March 2004 – September 2004

I joined Pentagons fast pace in a sales management role maintaining existing clients and obtaining new opportunities.
Reporting directly to the director assisting with the day to day business management and pricing of top priority oil and gas jobs.
Responsibilities and duties:-
• Assist the director with new influx of business and RFQ’s.
• Manage and develop an exciting already active oil and gas customer base.
• Majority of customer requirements were pipe, storage, handling, packing and export/import move internationally.

Regional Manager UAE-Aratrans (Arab Transport Company.)/UASC (United Arab Shipping Company) Feb 2003 – Feb 2004

Reporting to the UASC Vice President of the Middle East. Aratrans is the forwarding arm of UASC. (Global giant)
Responsibilities and duties:-
• Responsible for UASC clearing & forwarding division
• Streamline and re organize job descriptions & operations
• Negotiate 3rd party rates & services and increase overall profitability
• Responsible for day to day running of Aratrans parallel to UASC operations.
• Negotiate annual internal rates for Aratran’s through UASC.
• Service customers with one stop shop options through Aratrans/UASC combined services.
• Search, purchase and Implement IT Logistical Software and staff training on the new system.
• Extensive travel to secure new customers & agency agreements.
• Offer middle east hubbing and on forwarding options to the GCC and further abroad with our combined services
• Charter brokers.
• Investigate potential benefits of integrating UASC and Aratrans into one logistical unit. This investigation involved lengthy negotiations with the port authority and use of its CFS and other VAS. (Value added Service).

Territory Manager UAE Danzas AEI June 2002 – January 2003

Recruited in Johannesburg, South Africa, this was a middle management role to develop the different emirates of the UAE. Danzas is part of the Deutsche Post.
Responsibilities and duties:-
• Responsible for the sales team working the following emirates, Deira, Sharjah and the Ras Al Khamaih and later Dubai. (Jebel Ali.)
• Target and acquire multinational companies as a 3PL - third party logistical provider.
