Project 1 - Client 1 - Conocophillips
Location: Sembawang Shipyard, Singapore
Project : BOHAI FPSO Project
Function : Mechanical Commissioning Engineer
Duration: April 2008 ~ Dec 2008
Actions / Responsibilities:
Verifications and Validations of MC packages on various Syatems and Sub-systems for Pre-commissioning and Commissioning.
Assist to Commissioning and Completion Coordinators in development planning, inspection, reporting of various Topside Modules status.
Coordinate with construction team in Mechanical walkdown Inspection and punch lists verifications of Installed skids and Vendor’s skids packages.
Worked with LOTO coordinator to monitor, verify and oversee the isolation of log out / tag out to ensure the systems are maintained in safe working condition.
Verify the systems and sub-systems are built as per P&ID and verified “ As Builts”.
Coordinate with Electrical, Instrument, Vendors and contractors for Precommissioning and follow up with precommissioning and commissioning procedures and assist to vendors to start up of Power Generation (MS 5001 Nuovo Pignone), Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG), HP/MP/LP Compressors, HP/LP Flare Knockout Systems, HVAC Systems, Utility Air System and Steam System.
Provide the technical supports throughout the commissioning, startup, performance testing, functional operations and stabilisation as per P&ID, verify and update the documentation of the packages with CMMS system.
Supervised the group of mechanical technicians and contractors in achieving the Technical Integrity of works and carried out in safe controlled manners in accordance with site procedures and Permit to Work System.
Project 2 - Client 2 - STMicroelectronics Pte Ltd

Project : 70 nm & 90 nm Flash Memory Chips Project
Function : Process & Equipment Engineer
Duration : July 2004 ~ March 2005
Actions / Responsibilities:
Plan and execute the commissioning and functional testing for the new machines installation and set-up with vendors and production technicians.
Organize the meeting with various clients for the clarification, discussion and planning of the schedules and attending the inspection for the completed and on-going projects.
Schedule the daily and weekly plans for production lines and managing the manpower of operators & technicians to meet production requirements.
Troubleshooting and repairing of Mechanical parts problems such as Robot problems (calibration drifts, wafer crashes, etc.), Heater lifter mechanism failures, Motors & Cryo Pumps failures in PVD Endura Systems and CVD Centura Systems of Thinfilm Deposition process.
Performed Time Based PM such as Quarterly, Half Yearly and Yearly PM with Robots’ calibration, wafer hands-off calibration, wafer mapping calibrations and carried out the Preventive maintenance of Applied Materials’ Deposition Automated Machines.
Coordinate with prodution, manufacturing and process control teams to ensure new recipes setup in shortest time, minimize the process variation, highest yields with high quility products with cycle time requirement which to achieve company’s goals and requirements.
Share the knowledge with team members to address the outstanding issues and carried out with effective Corrective Action Plans to achieve the project’s completion in time.

Function : Sr Associate Engineer (Process & Equipment)
Project : 130 nm & 180 nm DRAM Memory Chips Project
Duration : April 2000 ~ March 2004
Actions / Responsibilities:
Involved the Process & Equipment’s improvement team, Quality Control team and Process Control team with follows up corrective actions and carried out for the implementation procedures of the project.
Assist to Manager in implementing of Equipment and Process parameters as well as qualification and fine tuning of the project’s requirement.
Perform the Process and Equipment Failure Analysis and Design of Experiments to address and minize the potential process and equipment related issues.
Perform the day / night shift rotation duties to monitor the process’s testing and production which to sustain and improve process’s integrity as well as to meet production requirments.
Perform the Prventive Maintenance and Calibrations for the Chemical Mechanical Polishing Automated Machines on timely basis, such as weekly, monthly, quartly and yearly.
Troubleshoot the process and equipment’s related issues, established the Corrective Action Systems and specified the procedures to be followed with minize the cycle time and products damages.
Conduct the trainings for the technicians and operators to upgrade their skills and to get more knowledge with better understanding for the project and process parameters which to meet our project and company’s goals.

Function : Assistant Mechanical Engineer
Project : 20 GB HDD Products Project
Duration : Aug 1999 ~ April 2000
Actions / Responsibilities:
Involved in Mechanical design and development team and responsible for Assembly, Installation, setup, troubleshooting, repairing for HDD automated machines such as Disk Installer, Head Stack Installer, Servo Track Writer for Seagate, Maxtor and Western Digital companies.
Perform the Inspection, recalibration and maintenance for all HDD machines according to the Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-annual and Yearly.
Monitor the products, process variation and equipment’s parameters to ensure the quality of the products.
Project 5 - Client 5 - Housing Development Board (HDB)
Location : Metalplas Engineering Pte Ltd, Singapore
Function : Sr Mechanical Technician
Project : Public Housing Lifts & Commercial Building Escalators
Duration: June 1997 ~ June 1999
