| 1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory] |
I enjoy working with people and can easily adapt to situations that are foreign to me. I am an athletic person and very competitive. One of my natural talents is my ability to persuade people, which is a key element in the business world. I also enjoy learning about different cultures and can communicate perfectly with people who are different from me. In 2007 I finished my high school in Islamabad Pakistan, which taught me to understand and communicate with different cultures around the world.
SEA RESCUE EXPERIENCE
I am currently working by the National Sea Rescue Institute in Gordon’s Bay where I am a Rescue Swimmer on their 5.5M Rib as well as a crew member on their 9M deep sea Boat. For more than a year now I have gained about a hundred sea hours and have done countless rescues which include towing of all size boats as well as retrieving people from the water. I have done numerous courses and I am currently doing my Skippers ticket.
MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE
Right after the October 8th earth quake in 2005, my school set up a task team to help distribute relief goods and to start rebuilding badly damaged schools in the area. It was my job to set up an earth quake relief program that would help raise money for the relief goods. A few months after the earth quake I was sent as one of the only students to survey the damaged areas and start a program to build a new school. I believe I can easily manipulate situations to find the easiest most effective way to solve a problem.
