Iím looking for a start as Roustabout or similar position,
I am a self motivated and reliable individual who functions well on an individual and team level. I started my Apprenticeship as a carpenter here in 1994, was on block release from work to college usually 6 weeks at a time.
My first year training was in the workshop and my journey man Andy Scott showed me everything from making windows to stairs which i become competent enough to do myself after 6 months. I was also trained to use all the different machines in the construction trade and a manual handling course.
In my second year I went out to the sites to learn 1st and 2nd fix and roofing, which I picked up fast by the end of my second year I, was working on my own sent from site to site.
I ended up a foreman for the company and had a couple of apprentices which i trained and are still working there now.
