Having served in various safety and management capacities over the last fifteen years, I have gained growth and experience in all levels of emergency management, leadership, communication, computers, fiscal management, safety and human resource development.

I served as a supervisor in the fire service and the private sector. As a Senior Battalion Chief and Safety Manager, my ability to exercise sound judgment, work under pressure and handle tight deadlines with sensitive issues was part of my daily responsibilities.

I am the ideal candidate because I have taught safety and well versed in Haz-Com, Haz-Mat, DOT, EPA, NFPA and Life Safety codes. I have worked with worker comp, L&I and accident investigations extensively. I developed, taught and implemented an extrication program used throughout the city and county. Instrumental in creating fire brigades for industries. CPR/AED and first aid certified instructor. OSHA and EH&S certified. MSHA IS Instructor certified with Department of Labor. Trainer Certification for fork-lifts.

With a Bachelors of Science degree in business management and an Associates of Science in Fire and Life safety I have the experience necessary to meet your required qualifications.
