DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As Quantity Surveyor:

 To coordinate the administration of prime contract and subcontracts on a company project.
 To ensure that the administration of contracts by projects is carried out in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
 To monitor the performance of awarded subcontracts, checking and agreeing the accuracy of monthly payment applications during the life of the subcontract and at completion of the work.
 To formulate change orders to existing subcontracts for change in scope and pricing.
 To assist in the review and settlement of any claims as may be raised by subcontractors.
 To assist in the preparation of change orders to the prime contract between company and client.


As Quantity Engineer:

 Supervised the preparation of As-Staked and As-Built Plans of the project.

 Prepared the monthly Payment Certificate of the Project.

 Prepared the Variation Orders of the Project.

 Prepared the Shop Drawings and Engineer’s Estimate for the back up of monthly report of the project.

 Prepared the PERT/CPM and S-Curve of the project.

 Prepared the Time Extensions and all Quantity Calculations of the project.

 Prepared transmittal letters for the Resident Engineer, District Engineer, Mayor and other local and private agencies.

 Prepared additional Unit Cost Analysis of the project.

 Attended monthly and coordination meeting with the local and international Consultant.


As Project Engineer:

 Supervised pre-construction survey and project layout and see to it that all horizontal and vertical control is true to its distance and elevation specified in the plan.

 Prepare materials, labor and equipment schedule intended for the project.

 Prepare proper scheduling, coordinate with the project supervisor in the distribution of manpower, materials utilization, safety of the entire crew, quality control and assurance of the project.

 Direct management of the project from mobilization through project completion and Prepare all project monthly accomplishment report

 The works includes direct management of the project, coordinate with the project supervisor in the effective project implementation. Check materials, labor and equipment distribution/utilization. Ensure that the project will be executed as per scope of work and standard specification and related applicable standard and practice.

 Coordinate with the surveyor and check the orientation of the structure and see that it is true to its horizontal and vertical alignment.

 Evaluate progress flow per item of work and ensure that its pay item has been implemented and completed in accordance with the specified Standard Specification.

Quality Assurance/Quality Control:

 The work includes review all pertinent project document and Specification in accordance to Engineering Standard and related applicable standard practices.

 Conduct and inspection request of every item of works included in the contract and ensure that the work has been carried our as per scope of work related drawings Specification Standards for Civil, Architectural, Mechanical and Electrical works.

As Safety Officer:

 Conduct daily & weekly toolbox meeting and discuss the proper safety implementation in the job site following the Safety Loss Prevention General Instructions. Prepare monthly safety reports and submitted to the proponent Safety Engineer.

 Check work permit and ensure that the work permit receiver is following the safety standard rules and regulation concerning the issuing and receiving work permit has been implemented accordingly.


As Project Inspector:

 Supervise and conduct inspection of the project regularly and see to it that the project is implemented in accordance with the Construction Standard Specification.

 Check all pay item of work included in the project and prepare program of works and coordinate with the field engineer and supervisor in the implementation of various project on Roads and Bridges, School Buildings and Water Supply System both level I and II.
