- Assist the QA/QC Manager for preparing the procedure and method of statements keeping in mind the requirements of project specification and relevant codes& standards.
- Review the sub-contractors documents.
- Ensure all inspections before, during, after welding is performing as per approved ITP and some time perform the same inspections.
- Co-ordinate with the Client and Sub-contractor for all NDT Inspections
- RT film review (acceptance criteria per ASME sec.IX, B 31.3, AWS D1.1)
- Assist the QA/QC Manager in taking critical decisions by analyzing relevant codes (ASMEB31.3, Sec.IX, and AWSD1.1etc.)
- Check each test package prior to submission to ensure all inspection and NDE activities completed for that particular line by checking certain system generated reports like Line summary sheet, Line NDE status etc.
- Performing walk down inspection and raise punches for every deviation from spec/code that found prior to Hydro test.
- Checking Hydro test document and reports ensure all punch list been done and closed prior to testing.
- Responsible for witness each Hydro test and Leak Test.
- After test, ensures it is performing the flushing, blowing and re-torque.
- Responsible for reinstatement report after hydro test, check all piping and equipment been installed complete and ensure all complete report and record and prepare any as built drawing for any modification, prior to handed over for Pre Commissioning team.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare all draft WPSs (as per AWS D1.1, API 1104 or ASME Sect. IX coalescence with SABIC standards) for variety of material like CS,LTCS,SS(304L,316L,321),Low alloy(P11&P22),Inconel, high nickel cast etc. with selection of welding process fully or combine, and electrode to be used to achieve the most efficient and considering time and cost.
- Incorporate the client comments, if any, and resubmit until getting the final approval.
- Witness and take readings of all parameters that using in the procedure qualification test.
- Witness the destructive tests for PQR.
- Prepare and submit the actual WPSs and PQR along with the test reports.
- Assist the QA/QC Manager for preparing the procedures and Method of statements.
- Witness the welder qualification test and issue Welders ID cards
- Assess the welder’s quality on weekly basis by calculating the RT repair percentage and select penalty joints.
- Co-ordinate with the client and other inspectors for all inspections
- Notify the non conformance identified and recommending corrective actions to site supervisors through NCRs.
- Co-ordinate with the IT engineer to make QA/QC database.
