1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]
To Whom It May Concern,
I’m attaching this cover letter as a supplement to my resume. I earned an associate's of science (AS – NortheastState Community College, Blountville TN) in 2004; then, a bachelor of science in petroleum engineering (BSPE – Marietta College, Marietta OH) from an accredited ABET 4 year college in 2007. In addition, I have also earned a bachelor of art (BA) in international business management while attending Marietta College. During the course of my education, I ranked in the top 10% overall in all the fundamental engineering courses I completed. Furthermore, I also believe my liberal art education background has certainly broadened my understanding of the various processes involved in daily, short term as well as long term business operations. Therefore, I am very confident in having developed a very good understanding of the analytical skills needed when taking an engineering approach to solve a problem; and, I believe to be a fast learner, should new hires need any specific in house training.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]
When it comes to my previous employment history, I have some field experience acquired during summer internships, first as a roustabout on a mobile rig, then as an offshore drilling engineer in the Gulf of Mexico (GOM) and finally as a full time MWD (Measurement While Drilling) field engineer. Therefore, I’m very much aware of the basic field safety rules and familiar with the, sometimes, difficult outdoor work conditions. Further, during my internship with Anadarko as an offshore drilling intern, I was responsible for developing a drilling program for an exploratory well in one block of the GOM. Some of my responsibilities required working with engineers from other departments (petrophysicists, reservoir engineers) as well as geologists and suppliers, to optimize the drilling cost. During my internship with CNX-gas, I was responsible for extracting and filing, at the manager’s request, the summary of all business activities reported on a paper map, or AutoCAD file, to Word or Excel format. I was also responsible for updating data from over 1,500+ well paper files using Microsoft Access. In addition to the employment history listed above, I have also worked throughout my education, mostly full time, as a security guard for three years, health care provider for disabled patients, janitor, telemarketer or helper in a printing company. Thus, I don’t fear long working hours or overtime and I believe to have excellent work ethics.
Work Experience

Introduced to the various tools used while drilling: directional, resistivity, gamma.
Anadarko Petroleum Corporation: May-August 2006 Offshore drilling Houston, TX

3. Education & Training - CV/Resume Part 3 [Mandatory]
In addition to the education background listed above, I have also earned a certificate in well control as well as a water survival Multi/seat HUET training certificate.
While completing my undergraduate degree in petroleum engineering I was exposed to all the various process involved in drilling, production as well as reservoir engineering. I took one course in drilling engineering; which covered the understanding of hydrostatic pressure monitoring, casing and cementing design as well as well control blow out prevention.
The courses completed in production engineering covered fluid properties, formation evalution, frac and acidizing as well as surface recovery equipment.
Finally the reservoir engineering courses covered material balance equations as well as well testing.
