CV/Resume Details

1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]

Summary of qualifications I have 16 years of experience in industrial work. I started my career building steel waste water tanks in the field as a helper. Within 6 months I was fitting and tacking steel plate for the shell of the tanks. After a year I was welding fulltime with a 6010 root on all seams and back arc gouging before putting on a 7018 cap for 100% penetration. Also used 7024 jet rod for all floor and roof seams. I then went to work for a structural steel shop as a production welder but was also given a chance to fit off of blueprints. I then went to work for a sub contractor for Tampa electric company running stainless steel instrumentation tubing where I gained knowledge in field runs, bracketing, and offset formulas also worked with a lot of socket weld piping 2” and under stainless and carbon. Also worked for another contractor doing typical power plant maintenance and butt weld piping with some millwright duties where I was a fitting leadman and then foreman. Worked some other short time jobs as a pipe fitter building RO skids and also worked new construction on a cogen where I was a pipe fitter for the combustion turbine. I was at my last employer for over 7 years with one and a half years as a foreman and and over 4 years as site superintendent at Tropicana juice facility in Bradenton Florida with a sanitary process piping contractor.
