Engineering FINAL YEAR PROJECT: EXPERIMENTAL STRESS ANLYSIS OF TENSILE TEST SPECIMEN USING FEM CODE ANSYS.
The project aimed at carrying out stress analysis of different tensile test specimens by using FEA technique. The project can be divided into two phases. The first phase of the project was to perform tensile tests of specimens so that the mechanical properties of the material can be identified and used for stress analysis. In the second phase stress analysis of specimens were calculated on ANSYS individually in 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional elastic and plastic regions and accordingly stress strain curves and related graphs were developed.
