With 28 years of midstream natural gas gathering and processing experience, along with numerous specific related trainings successfully completed. Have gained extensive knowledge and skills related to all phases of G&P operations; from daily operations, operations management, project/construction management (both new and maintenance), along with extensive regulatory and commercial knowledge. The work history outlined below will reflect a career path from operations entry level to Senior level operations management, along with both Construction and Project Management/Engineer, which has allowed for firsthand exposure to all levels of midstream operations and construction/project management.
Self motivated with a positive attitude, strong leadership, organizational and team building skills. Have successfully utilized these skills to lead teams with diverse backgrounds, to achieve numerous substantial goals, while maintaining an excellent safety record throughout career.
Possess extensive knowledge of DOT, PSM, EPA, OSHA, API, ASTM, etc. requirements, as these requirements relate to the industry. Comfortably comply with employer’s policies and procedures.

10/2007 – Present CH2M Hill – Energy Services & Operations, Greenwood Village, Co.
Construction Manager – (1-year) Provide site management of sub-contractors for several BP-America (Client) EPC projects. Projects consist of construction of fluid handling facilities, compressor building ventilation, plant dehydration re-generation compressor installation, natural gas gathering compressor stations and Safety PLC installations. Duties include compliance with all EH&S policies and procedures, provide client and engineering daily reports, coordinate and communicate engineering issues to gain resolution (RFI), provide quality assurance documentation, develop construction schedules and provide site management of multiple construction sub-contractors while approving contractor labor, equipment and material purchases. Compile project turnover packages.

1/2006 – 10/2007 L-Con Constructors Inc., Houston, Texas
Project Manager – Manage projects from inception to completion. Perform a key role related to the preparation of bid proposals, cost estimating, design, planning, scheduling and construction. Responsible for meeting schedule and cost projections, compiling and organizing client turnover packages and project closure.
Project Engineer – (1 ½ years) Assigned to a “grassroots”, Natural Gas Processing Plant Project, located near Meeker, Colorado. Roles consist of being the primary Engineering contact between the Design Engineering firm and the job site. Additional duties include the manage/supervise of the following disciplines: Field Engineering, Material Procurement/Receiving/Warehousing Group, the Site Administrative Group, the Quality Control Group, the Project Controls Group and the Document Control Group.

1990 – 2006 Duke Energy Field Services, Inc., Midland, Texas
Sr. Construction Specialist - (2-years) Assigned to the Corporate Engineering/Projects Group the position allowed me the opportunity to sever as Construction and Project Manager and at times severed both of these roles on numerous projects with a budget ranging from $100 K to $25 million. The position required the development of scope of work, material take-off, cost estimating for AFE, preparing contractor bid packages, leading contractor job showing, leading project kick-off meetings, procurement of materials, management of General Contractors, project reporting to the VP of Engineering, while soliciting local area operations and technical support personnel involvement with each project assigned.
Director of Operations – Served the company in this role for 5 plus years. Responsibilities include providing primary leadership to a group of 100 asset employees, the development of annual CAPEX and OPEX budgets, measurement L & U, equipment maintenance programs, identify and develop OPEX reduction projects, through such items as increased process plant recoveries, consolidation of gathering system compression and L&U improvement projects. Such projects required a feasibly study, scope development, cost estimate, economic evaluation to be completed. The assets of responsibility consisted of 3000 miles of gathering system pipelines (most of which was “full well stream” gathering), 85 compressor units (ranging from 200 – 2000 hp), 45 compressor stations and 5 – Cryogenic Natural Gas Processing Plants(ranging from 15 – 120 mcf/day), two of which included a fractionation train with truck sales.
Gathering System Supervisor - (5-years) Roles in this position included identifying and implementing gathering system optimization projects; these projects ranged from the installation of key pipeline segments that allowed for Compressor Station integration, to the expansion of existing and new Compressor Stations that would maximize existing horsepower and reduce the amount of rental compression, these projects included the design, construction and management of such projects. Additionally, was responsible for the design, construction and project management associated with new well connects to the existing gathering systems.
Operations Supervisor – (3-years) Manage the operations and construction a 5-BCF underground natural gas storage facility. Oversee the construction of several pipeline projects, the largest being a 35-mile 12” High Pressure pipeline; design/construction of a natural gas compressor station (3000 hp) with extensive automation, a 75 mmcf/d Glycol Dehydration Unit. Additionally, worked closely with reservoir engineers, while drilling and completing several injection wells. Other responsibilities included, managing the bacterial treating programs associated with down-hole and pipeline operations.

1981 – 1990 Clajon Gas Company, Giddings, Texas
Gathering System Operator – (7-years) duties included the operation/maintenance of pipelines, compressors, dehydrators, fuel conditioning units, Compressor Stations.
Gas Processing Plant Operator – (2-years) trained and operated a 75 MMCFD Cryogenic Natural Gas Processing Plant. Duties included all phases of operation/maintenance of all plant equipment.
Roustabout, along with operations/maintenance of all Gas Plant associated equipment, such as compression, turbo expander, stabilization units, NGL product pumps, etc.

1980-1981 Geophysical Services Inc., Anchorage, Alaska
Seismograph Crew Member - Assigned to lay-out and pick-up geophones, for a large scale seismic operation
