A) WINTERSHALL NOORDZEE B.V., THE NETHERLANDS: (May.’2008 – till date) as a Senior Petrophysicist
Currently working for Petrophysical evaluation of wells in UK and the Netherlands sectors of North Sea. The job role is co-ordination and provision of all aspects of petrophysics within in a multidisciplinary team environment with following responsibilities:
1. Log Evaluation: Log Data Acquisition, Planning, Editing and Interpretation of mud, standard and special log data like NMR/CMR, TDT/RST, pressure tests, cement evaluation and production logging.
2. Plan, prepare and supervise Logging Operations on- and offshore. Liaison with logging contractors and well services groups. Cost estimation of operations, QC and quick look analysis. Perform post-well evaluations.
3. Promotion of standard workflows and data handling procedures for the project teams.
4. Coordinate collection of all petrophysical data and maintenance of petrophysical database (Recall).
5. Perform volumetric assessments and participate in hydrocarbon in place assessment.
6. Promotion of technology development within Wintershall.
7. Supervision of contractor personnel and mentoring of staff to ensure technical integrity of projects.
8. Responsible for obligations resulting from HSE program and activity plan within the working area.

Worked mainly in Nembe Creek and Awoba Project (East-Oil - A Value Creation Team) of Niger Delta including the following assignments:
· To perform consistent petrophysical interpretations (lithology, phi, So, Sg, NET, N/G, EPV, sums and averages), culminating in fully documented petrophysical models, which describe the fluids distribution within reservoirs, for implementation in 3D modelling. Identifies by-passed hydrocarbons and workover opportunities.
· To conduct special studies (e.g. Routine / Special Core Analysis integrated with petrophysical analysis) to standardize petrophysical parameters and methods.
· To independently plan, lead and direct service personnel in carrying out specialised wire line data acquisition and interpretation services for internal and Joint Venture customers in a cost effective, efficient and safe manner.
· To perform petrophysical evaluation during FDP formulation/implementation and Full Field Reviews (FFR).
· Advise on logging suites, coring, testing and core analyses requirements (expl., appr., dev. wells). QC logs and log interpretation while drilling, advise on Sidewall Core, pressure and sampling points, with RE’s.
· To provide mentoring and coaching to develop junior Petrophysicists and Graduate trainees. Conducted Shell Intensive Training Program (SITP/1): Petrophysics - MODULE DESCRIPTOR for Graduate Engineers/ Geoscientists of Shell, Africa Region in Warri, Nigeria for duration of 9 weeks.

3 Reservoir Characterization/ Correlation Review / geo-cellular modelling Interactive support for re-modelling. Review of log derived saturation, Saturation height algorithms & permeability determination / modelling and log correlation.
4 Field Development Plan - Associated with Subsurface team to prepare the Field Development Plans. - Provided Petrophysical inputs and Reserve Calculations and made the appropriate presentations on the same to JV partners.
5 Core Analysis - Assistance in preparation of coring programme and Technical Evaluation of Coring and Core Analysis Bid.- Integration of Conventional and advanced core analysis data with Computer generated formation evaluation results.
6 Infill Well Analysis Work Development Petrophysical analysis using well data (while infill well drilling) incorporating core. Re-Run petrophysical analysis for all the existing with consistent logic for future Modelling.
7 Reserves Estimation Create spreadsheet of pay summaries (Net sand, Net pay, Avg. porosity, Avg Sw, OWC, GWC) with all wells oil and gas sandstones and integrate with net pay mapping. Explain wet sands (flushed/isolated?)
8 Joint Venture (JV’s) Support/ presentation Assistance in answering JV queries / presentations with liaise Geologists, Geophysicists and RE’s to optimize the development of oil and gas fields.
EXPLORATION
9 Oil prospect and its upside potential using Rock Physics work - Review of LM section, considering 13 wells data and Rock Physics work.- Rock Physics work in Middle Miocene sections for 4D/4C Feasibility Study
