1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]
Dear sir or madam,
I am an electrician with industrial and commercial experience. I am trying to make inroads into the off shore industry as an assistant electrician. I adapt quickly, learn quickly and used to working in averse conditions with weather coming in sideways. Primarily this has been in the mountains operating and monitoring plant equipment including high pressure air and water. I realise this is a stretch of relevancy but one has to start somewhere and surely there is room for a rookie or to to work on the rigs. Not everyone has five years experience to start with.
Appreciate any advice or at least a chance of a start.
2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]
Last four years were industrial and construction electrical work on a series of road and rail tunnels under Sydney Australia. Primarily building substations, a ventillation control room and the monitoring control room. Also spent several months working on a new water treatment plant in a chemical production site.
Prior to that I started from school as a Geoscience technician with the Australian Geological Survey for a several years until they retrenched a large number of us. After that I spent five years in the ski industry and construction industry operating plant equipment included in snow making and driving the tractors that maintain the pistes, gaining experience in pumps, compressors and the tractor hydraulics.
