Since leaving the Royal Navy in 1997 I have been working in the oil industry. I started work with Diamond Drilling as a Roustabout. I then moved on to be a Floorman then assistant Derrickman. I currently work for Bluewater onboard the Haewene Brim FPSO as a Level 3 Crane Operator. As well as Deck Foreman and safety representative duties I am also responsible for the coordination of tanker offloading.

I started in the oil industry when I left the Navy. I began as a roustabout working my way up to assistant derrickman. I have been working with bluewater for the last 4 years where I have now completed my stage 3 crane ticket.
