1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]

As an SAP PM consultant, I have worked as part of a project team to achieve the project goal; deliver the system on time, in budget and according to the clients business requirements. Since leaving the offshore oil industry (20 years) to take up SAP Plant Maintenance, I have worked on numerous full cycle implementations in industries ranging from oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, guns and ammunition to power generation to name but a few.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

• November 2008 – Present. AES Power Generation – Cartegena, Spain. A Recovery Project. The intention is to review and reload the majority of preventative and corrective task lists using LSMW. Identify where Strategy Based planning would be beneficial. Create and schedule maintenance plans. Create the HR link to Maintenance Work Centres. Review and correct where necessary the MRP aspects of their material masters. Reload Material masters with correct details using LSMW. Advise the client on best practise on the use of SAP.

• September 2007 – September 2008 - BAE Systems – Land Systems. Provided an SAP PM proof of Concept system to the Munitions Division to enable them to make a logical decision about procurement of a PM system. Fully configured system according to BAE LS (Land Systems) User requirements document. Presented PoC system to client.

• Further proof of concept work to establish the requirements for Land Vehicle (armoured vehicles) business including the concept of Lifetime Asset Management (AM). Further developed the prototype requirements to suit BAE Systems Land system vehicles maintenance implementation including the use of Portal and BI technology.

• July 2007 – September 2007 National Grid (Metering). Testing Manager. Determining the testing regime to enable the successful SAP PM implementation for National Grid (Metering)

• May 2007 – July 2007: Georgia Pacific (Paper Manufacture) Post go live support & development.

• November 2006 - March 2007: SERVICE MANAGEMENT AND PLANT MAINTENANCE, Alstom, London
Implementing core template (franchise model) SM and PM to support Alstom’s maintenance requirements. Assisting in the solution to manage trains (Northern and Jubilee Line – Metro) and their respective preventative maintenance including the concept of Lifetime Asset Management (AM)

• September 2006: PLANT MAINTENANCE, Wyeth Pharmaceutical – Algete, Madrid, Spain. Continuation of Wyeth’s European SAP role out

• March 2006: PLANT MAINTENANCE, Wyeth Pharmaceutical – Newbridge ROI.
Providing post-go live support to core team members and end users.

• February 2005 until March 2006: PLANT MAINTENANCE, Wyeth Pharmaceutical – Newbridge ROI.
Core PM team lead, including all necessary configuration & consulting, for rolling out SAP PM and MRO materials to Wyeth’s European sites. Utilised LSMW for the smooth transfer of PM data from the clients legacy system. Designed an SAP process to manage the change control of packaging and process ‘change parts’ tooling’. Designed, configured & tested the material refurbishment process enabling the visibility (at vendor) and tracking of damaged/refurbished material at all times. SAP implementation went live, successfully and on time. Coordinated the testing of PM and training the end users thereafter.

• April 2004: February 2005 PLANT MAINTENANCE, Outo Kumpu Stainless Steel
Global roll out PM consultant. Responsible for the PM roll out, including all necessary configuration, to 4 stainless steel plants in the UK. Conducted testing to ensure end-to-end technical integrity, performance & reliability. Maintenance programme included the concept of Lifetime Asset Management (AM). Mentored a team of 8 client employees as well as the consulting companies (Accenture) junior consultant. SAP implementation went live, successfully and on time.

• January 2004: April 2004 PLANT MAINTENANCE, Novartis Pharmaceuticals
Pre and post go live support consultant. Produced training documentation, work instructions and gave training to approximately 200 candidates.

• July 2003: December 2003
CONSULTANT SAP (4.6c) PLANT MAINTENANCE, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Dublin
Responsible for providing advice relating to PM Data Management & various aspects of PM.
Developed SAP PM processes to meet corrective & preventative maintenance requirements in line with the global template as provided by the parent company in the US.
Prepared & delivered training documentation for key end users & management personnel.

• Oct 2001 to Apr 2003:
CONSULTANT SAP (4.6C) PLANT MAINTENANCE, Castle Cement, UK
Responsible for team leading the implementation of a multi-site SAP system in the UK.
Managed phase one involving the complete configuration of the SAP PM module including developing the concept of BOM’s (Bills of Material), Fleet Management, testing, process design including the concept of Lifetime Asset Management (AM) & acceptance phases.
Prepared project plans, implementation & test plans, time scale & budget requirements for approval & sign-off by the client ‘steering committee’.
Assisted the ABAP programmer with the use of LSMW for the smooth transfer of PM data from the clients legacy system.
Led phase two involving the provision of workshops with the project ‘key users’. Handled configuration change requests & impact analysis. Continuously consulted the client.
Devised cutover policy used for the switch over from client legacy systems to SAP
Provided on-going support. Ensured change requests were documented, approved & implemented accordingly. Ensured optimum quality levels were adhered to.

• Aug to Oct 2001:
CONSULTANT, Brother Europe
Provided post go-live support for the implementation & integration of SD & SM modules.

• Jan to Aug 2001:
CONSULTANT, UNA (Part of the Reliant Energy Group), The Netherlands
Assisted with the upgrade of SAP PM from 3.1I to 4.6B for this power generating company
Key member of the project team for the design & validation of a European Single Business Enterprise model to enable smooth migration to the new system across other European plants
Contributed to enable effective control & planning of major overhaul programmes across six power generation plants across Holland. Assisted to integrated PS with the PM module. Designed an SAP solution to Manage Generator Turbine Blades.

• Sept to Dec 2000:
CONSULTANT, Price Waterhouse Coopers at China Light & Power, Hong Kong
Appointed to conduct a major study to determine appropriate systems to meet client needs
Liaised closely with the client at a senior level to identify needs & propose suitable alternatives including the concept of Lifetime Asset Management (AM).
Recommended for PS & PM including Fleet Management to be closely aligned resulting the delivery of an effective solution
