I am an experience Rigger that has seen my career work for clients such as STS Resource’s technology, Aker Solutions and various M.O.D contracts whilst serving in Armed Forces. Efficiently executing all deck operations, including all rigging, heavy lifting, seamanship skills, cables, anchor handling, rig moves, subsea umbilicals, erection and removal of structures, working along side welders, electricians, subsea engineers, R.O.V operators, gas plant shut downs, I am currently a rigger in Norway.

Rigger Aker Solutions Norway
Contracted threw STS, H6E Project, construction of 2 drilling rigs, installation of spools, valves, drilling legs and steel vessels and thrusters, all aspects of rigging, commissioning of valves and pumps, identifying leaks, tension torque, bolts and gaskets, working in confined area, assisting divers via stand jacks.

August 2008 – September 2008

Rigger Shell Group Scotland
Contracted to Shell via Wood Group PLC, Rejuvenation, total plant shutdown, St Fergus plant, banking cranes, slinging, assisting fitters, replacing all major components and various valves.

June 2008 – August 2008

Rigger Frigg Offshore Norway
Part of EchoFist decommissioning contract, duties included deployment of R.O.V. and Underwater cutting equipment, all aspects of pre rigging/lashings, mooring of platforms, securing of chains and frame work, removal of hydraulic legs and frame work, installation of welding eyes and lifting pins and removal of structure.


August 2005 – October 2005

Rigger Amec ICI Wilton/Huntsman
Total plant shutdown, assisting crane drivers, transfer of large valves during refits by means of blocks, chain pulls, replacement of Valves, spools assisted fitters and welders, banking of cranes, assisting of the docking and undocking of ships.

March 2001 – May 2001

6) Armed Forces – PortMaritime Regiment Portsmouth, loading of cargo to vessels , vehicles, banking cranes, lashings and splicing, basic rigging. Trained fire fighter in all fires including chemical and aviation fires, the use of compressed air breathing apparatus at incident.
