• Facilitate and Lead cross functional teams for Root Cause Investigation using the Apollo Root Cause Investigation methodology for unplanned event to prevent equipment repetitive failures. • Responsible for continual developing of Top 10 opportunity list (Bad Actors) by analyzing cost & loss of production data (E-Chok , MMS Plus, TAR List, PCMS Inspection data) to resolve operation, design & maintenance problems
• Responsible to identify safety (Both Personal & Process), environmental & availability risks , prioritize them based on the consequences and develop the long & short term solutions to mitigate them thru CAPEX/SPE projects or adding them to the TAR work list
• Identify the Reliability Improvement projects for upgrades or replacement , enter the idea into project data base, prepare cost estimate & justification for funding approval from capital or expense budgets, field installation, & commissioning
• Responsible to Develop and Update the PPM tasks and frequencies for the critical equipment based on the equipment history ,OEM and the peoples recommendations who run and maintain the equipment .Monitoring and adjusting the area's preventive maintenance activities.
• Investigate problems in detail , research technical information, formulate an approach to the problem, and recommend the solution
• Provide input and assistance to Engineers and Maintenance Technicians on equipment repairs .Monitor outside equipment repair shops, by making shop visits during critical repairs and making quality inspections, to ensure quality and cost effective service.
• Based upon previous inspection reports, other history, and changes in operating conditions, plan turnaround scope for major equipment to ensure high reliability until the next scheduled turnaround;
• Participate in critical parts selection process. Provide technical support to other refinery groups to review and approve new designs, equipment standards, etc
• Provide assistance to procurement with technical reviews of pumps, compressors, agitators, motors, and mechanical seals
• Developed the Operating Envelops track them and to make sure that they are running within the designed limits for smooth unit operation.Provide input to the existing operating envelops to resolve any issue if the equipment not operating within the defined operating limits to keep the unit/equipment running reliable and safely
• Monitoring the area's operator round equipment findings directing corrective actions to prevent failures. Working with Operators to optimize operator round equipment inspections.
