Employed as Medical Officer onboard Accommodation barge “Camelot”.
Project GEP17, Soyo, Angola. Total&Saipem Clients.
The new-building barge (now biggest accommodation barge in the world)
commissioning of the first charter. Next tasks were done:
- performed all necessary medicines/medical equipment supplying
- all medical facilities (hospital, examination room, sickbay) have been arranged
- in cooperation with HSE, Master, Saf. Officer have developed SMS procedures
Duties:
∙ caring for the health and well being of crew and project personnel – 280 POB
∙ attended all emergency/non-emergency medical cases; radio medical
consultancy, Medivac performing if required
∙ control and restocking all medicines onboard
∙ weekly health&hygiene inspection of the barge facilities; first-aid boxes,
emergency eye wash stations and PPE check-up
∙ participation in daily safety meetings and trainings, involved in the HSE
subjects that are related to the crew
