Term Contract Electrical Supervisor/ Site Safety Rep At DSM Dalry – (One Of The Worlds Largest Producers Of Vitamin C)
I am currently responsible for planning, ordering materials and supervising all BWA electrical and instrumentation installations throughout the plant.
As the electrical supervisor I am responsible for preparing method statements, risk assessments and ensuring that all employees are following site PTW, PPE and quality requirements.

After an explosion on the plant I was hired by BWA to assess all electrical and instrumentation damage and to prepare a report on the findings for the insurance loss adjuster. Once this was complete I was given the task of overseeing the destruct, re-configuration, testing and commissioning of the plant.
Predominantly worked at Roche (now DSM) Dalry and British Petroleums’ Grangemouth oil refinery. I was involved in the major expansion of the vitamin c production facility at Roche from initial construction through to testing and final commissioning of the electrical and instrumentation systems. Throughout this time I was also involved in numerous shutdown operations at Grangemouth.
