Being in the Finance Department of a premier Market Research recognized globally. my expertise in coordinating with internal and external clients are develop by the day-to-day experiences I had in communicating and addressing issues. As an ISO Coordinator of our department, I see to it that there is always a check and balance in the procedures we are implementing in paying suppliers and billing our clients. The integrity I have as a Company Cashier will be vital in providing support to Accounting teams in processing and giving recommendations on the company financial procedures when required. My experiences as a Finance Executive assigned in collecting payments to our clients and coordinating issues raised by clients to our Client Service Group will give me edge in responding to ad hoc queries. I prepare monthly Accounts Receivables report on collection and summarized issues which our Chief Financial Officer presented on the monthly Management Committee meeting.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

Position Finance Executive (A/R Collection Officer)

Main responsibilities:
1. Collection of Accounts Receivables and Meet Days Balance Outstanding (DBO) target by series of follow up with clients
a) Monitoring and collection of Proforma Invoice.
b) Proper documentation and support to implement Bad Debt write off.
c) Accounts Receivable balance reconciled and confirmed with clients.
d) Achieve reduction of bad debts by close coordination with clients.
e) Accounts Receivable maintained at budget level.

2. Prompt and Accurate report at 1st submission of reports
a) Ensure monthly AR balances are reconciled (GL vs. SL ).
b) Provide Mancom Reports with clear analysis two (2) working days before scheduled Mancom meeting.
c) A/R Budget/Forecast on due date.
e) Provide Monthly Accounts Receivable report to Sales Business Unit’s on 2nd day of the following month.
f) Ensure that all entries related to Accounts Receivable per client are recorded monthly. No reconciling account ageing more than 30 days.
g) Achieve 24 hrs. turnaround for other concerns.

3. Identify Specific Steps To Accelerate Billings and Payments
a) Visit at least 10 major clients with problematic accounts to resolve long outstanding accounts beyond 90 days.
b) Draw and implement new guidelines to facilitate collection such as monthly sending of Statement of Accounts to team handling the projects with DBO 90 days and above. Update the team as well as when payment is collected.
c) Assist in Billing Preparation as needed.

4. No complaints from external or internal clients for delay and quality of output.
a) Follow guidelines and procedures of external clients in sending of invoices and following up of payment at all times.
b) Provide internal clients Statement of Account within one day from day of request.
c) Feedback and/or resolution of client's complaints within 24 hrs.

5. No internal and external audit findings. Ensure no exception or major observation is noted during ISO Audit, Preventure Walkthrough and external audit.

6. Collection of Creditable Withholding Tax Certificate of collected receivables within 45 days from close of quarter.

Achievements:
Awarded for two consecutive years for over-achieving DBO target for the year.
Being recognized by the Management for the all time high record in account collection.

Position Finance Executive (Company Cashier)

Main responsibilities:

1- Custodian of Company’s Revolving Fund, Petty Cash Fund, Gift Certificates and Short-term Investment Certificates. Ensure that all accountable items on-hand are accounted for at all times.

2- Act as bank liason and in-charge of depositing daily collections and transacting bank related matters.

3- Negotiate rates for short-term investment. Seek approval from Chief Financial Officer after presenting a comparative report of Interest Rates.

4. Release monthly Grocery benefit to all regular employees.

5. Release every 8th and 23rd of the month the payroll for casual employees.

6. Recording of daily collections at Navision Financials. Ensure that all collections and Official Receipts are accounted for.

7. Act as ISO Coordinator for Finance Department.
a) Perform Procedural Audit every month to ensure that all Finance functions are performed within the ISO set standards.
b) Ensure that all documents have proper approvals and authorization. Ensure that target percentage for processed billings, payments and revenues are met monthly. Review of client contracts vs. billings.
c) Check if all the provisions in contract are followed or not, especially the agreed payment terms.
d) Review of Supplier’s Accreditation and Subcontractor’s Signed Contract. Randomly check processed Check Vouchers if payment terms are followed promptly.
e) Prepare Audit Report and submit to ISO Champions and CFO. Ensure that Finance Department is ready for the semi-annual ISO Audit.

8. Perform yearly Office Supplies, Furnitures and Fixtures and Computer Hardware inventory and audit. Prepare report to be submitted to CFO.

Achievements:
Awarded for my contribution in achieving target Interest Income for the year by earning 11 million from short-term investment interest.

Awarded for passing all the ISO audits conducted by Certification International Phils., Inc.
