For the past 4 years and I am working with oil and gas industry as senior instrumentation Maintenance technician. Within this period I have a comprehensive experiences in troubleshooting and corrective& preventive maintenance of electronic and pneumatic instruments and Automation controls and Central Control System related to gas turbines, oil and gas facilities such as production and test separators,Power plants, Pumps, Dehydrators, Surge tank, sump tanks, Oil/gas flow metering, Oil prover, nitrogen Plant and ethane Recovery Plant which includes gas compressors, reboilers (demethaniser ), accumulators, instrument air compressors,ESD&DCS systems.
. Within this period my responsibilities includes in providing training, and technical support to local employees in instruments and controls repair, implementing effective scheduling of preventive maintenance for plant equipments, and materials stock controls. Familiar in any electronic and pneumatic instruments such as transmitters (level, flow, temperature, pressure), control valves,esd valves,on off valves,. relief valves, controllers (level, flow, pressure, temperature), regulators, analyzers, detectors (flame, gas and fire), orifice plates, converters, recorders, indicating instruments from various American and European manufacturers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Maintenance of a wide range of Electronic and Pneumatic process control instrumentation associated with pressure, temperature, level and flow including related, to a wide range of static and rotating equipments. Good knowledge of PLCS, DCS(FOXBORO,METSO), ESD(TRICONIX), Fire & Gas(GENERAL MONITORS), Metering,, ladder logic, cause & effects matrix and capable of loop-checking from field devices to control rooms. Experienced in site equipment repairs including Valves, Actuators etc. Comprehensive experiences in understanding and troubleshooting of P & ID diagrams, hook - up diagram, loop wiring diagram, and a variety of skilled work related to installation of pneumatic and electronic instruments including running and tracing complex loop sheets related to the causes, effect, diagnostic diagram, trip test, function testing of control loop, trip sequences and process fault finding, specification panel drawing, junction box detail drawing, cable layout drawing. Experience with the rules, regulations and use of ex equipment in hazardous areas. In charge of the jobs execution, respect of rules related to Work Orders, Work permits and Isolation permits. In charge of Tuning up maintenance procedures troubleshooting, calibration, testing and repair of Control valves, internals, actuators and pneumatic accessories, including anti-surge valves.
