Human Resource and Administration Manager (station in Beijing from Apr 07 to Oct 08, secondment to Macau from Oct 08 to present)

- Manage local recruiting resources to fill positions effectively with high performing employees
- Review HR policies on issues such as recruitment, working conditions and disciplinary issues in accordance with Head Office policies and PRC Employment Law
- Implement a structured new employee orientation program for all new employees by bringing them more quickly to understand the company’s policies and procedures, business scope, core values and culture.
- Manage visa application process and relocations for expatriate staff
- Advise line managers and employees to make certain that decisions and actions are appropriate, lawful and consistent
- Manage annual performance review process and ensure all staff complete self reviews and managers complete appraisals in a timely manger
- Implementation of Individual Income Tax Plan for expatriate staff in compliance with PRC local tax requirement
- Ensure & administer statutory benefit requirement to PRC local employees according to PRC Employment Laws

- Advise line managers on disciplinary issues that include poor performance, unsatisfactory behavior and other work-related issues to ensure all employment terminations are appropriate and legal.
