I have worked almost continuously since leaving school in 1985 and have demonstrated determination and ability in various work settings, including Social Services and the Probation Service. Since completing my "offshore survival" in December 2007 l have worked for RBG and KCAD. l am currently on the books of Global, and Atlantic resources and remain committed to securing a career in the offshore oil industry. Having already obtained my "Green hand" with banks man/slinger qualification l am now due to complete my "helideck emergency response team member" training on 23/03/09 at Falck Nutec.

K.C.A DEUTAG (Via Global Resources)
Work on the Dunbar platform during a drill pipe replacement operation. Duties included all aspects of deck work alongside Petrofac deck crew and crane Operative. Slinging and lifting of pipe bundles and drilling equipment in conjunction with Rough necks and senior drill crew. I also had the opportunity to complete KCAD deck crew safety training.
June 2008 – October 2008
Responsible for providing equipment to several teams of scaffolders on the Dunbar platform and occasional deck crew duties. Tasks also included stripping of jobs and liaising with other work parties in order to comply with relevant health and safety regulations. l was periodically responsible for radio operations during “over the side” working. I also had the opportunity to work with painters and blasters including prep work and basic painting duties.
